Following the entry into force last week of an order banning the import and sale of products from Judea and Samaria, East Jerusalem and the Golan Heights, we informed the Dutch Embassy in Israel this evening that Dutch diplomats operating in Ramallah must return their Israeli-issued diplomatic documentation within seven days. After this period, the diplomatic privileges and immunities granted to them by the State of Israel will expire. If the Netherlands wishes to continue representing its interests with the Palestinians, it may do so from Palestinian Authority territory, rather than from the territory of the State of Israel. Last month, we removed the Dutch delegation from the International Support Center for Gaza in Kiryat Gat, following actions taken by the Dutch Government against Israel. I reiterate: Israel will not ignore measures intended to harm it. Any country that acts in a hostile and unilateral manner against Israel will lose influence and relevance in the region. I also reiterate the urgent need to address the growing antisemitism and incitement openly seen on the streets of the Netherlands. Not only are this antisemitism and incitement not being seriously addressed, but the anti-Israel policies of the Dutch Government are fueling them.

לאור כניסתו לתוקף בשבוע שעבר של צו האוסר על יבוא וסחר במוצרים מיהודה ושומרון, מזרח ירושלים ורמת הגולן, הודענו הערב לשגרירות הולנד בישראל, כי על הדיפלומטים ההולנדים הפועלים ברמאללה להחזיר בתוך 7 ימים את התיעוד הדיפלומטי שהונפק להם על ידי ישראל. בתום תקופה זו - יפקעו החסינויות והזכויות שהוענקו להם על ידי מדינת ישראל במסגרת זו. ככל שהולנד מעוניינת להמשיך ולייצג האינטרסים שלה מול הפלסטינים, היא יכולה לעשות זאת משטחי הרשות הפלסטינית ולא משטחה של מדינת ישראל. כזכור, בחודש שעבר הרחקנו את הנציגות ההולנדית ממרכז התמיכה הבינלאומי לעזה הפועל מקרית גת בעקבות פעילות ממשלת הולנד נגד ישראל. אני חוזר ומדגיש, כי ישראל לא תעבור לסדר היום על מהלכים שנועדו לפגוע בה. כל מדינה שתפעל באופן עויין וחד צדדי נגד ישראל - תאבד מהשפעתה ומהרלוונטיות שלה באזור. כמו כן, אני מדגיש את הצורך הדחוף לטפל באנטישמיות ובהסתה הגואה בגלוי ברחובות הולנד. לא רק שאנטישמיות והסתה גלויה זאת אינה זוכה לטיפול משמעותי, אלא שמדיניותה האנטי ישראלית של ממשלת הולנד - מזינה אותה.

Austria’s President @vanderbellen should be ashamed! I had a good conversation with EU Commissioner for the Mediterranean @dubravkasuica. I updated her on the positive developments in Israel-Morocco relations and on the outcomes of last Wednesday’s trilateral meeting in New York. I also proposed advancing joint projects involving Israel, Morocco and the European Union. We discussed progress on two important EU-led humanitarian projects in Gaza on waste water treatment, and waste disposal. I thanked Commissioner Šuica for her cooperation and look forward to continuing to work together in her important role as Commissioner for the Mediterranean.

Agradezco a Colombia y a mi buen amigo, el presidente de Colombia, Abelardo De La Espriella @ABDELAESPRIELLA, por su histórica decisión de reconocer la soberanía de Israel en los Altos del Golán. Esto, tras nuestra reunión en Barranquilla, Colombia, el pasado jueves. Con ello, el presidente de Colombia ha demostrado, en una de sus primeras decisiones en el cargo, su liderazgo, sus valores y su compromiso con Israel y la seguridad de Israel. Agradezco a mi homólogo y amigo, el ministro de Relaciones Exteriores Omar Bula Escobar @omarbula, por la amistad, la cooperación y el trabajo profesional. Israel es un país pequeño sin profundidad estratégica. Tener fronteras defendibles es esencial para Israel a fin de garantizar la existencia del pueblo judío en su patria histórica. אני מודה לקולומביה ולחברי הטוב נשיא קולומביה אבלרדו דה לה אספרייה @ABDELAESPRIELLA על החלטתו ההסטורית להכיר בריבונות ישראל ברמת הגולן. זאת, בעקבות פגישתנו בבראנקייה, קולומביה, ביום חמישי שעבר. בכך הוכיח נשיא קולומביה, באחת מהחלטותיו הראשונות בתפקיד, את מנהיגותו, את ערכיו ואת מחויבותו לישראל ולבטחון ישראל. אני מודה לעמיתי וידידי שר החוץ עומר בולה אסקובר @omarbula על החברות, שיתוף הפעולה והעבודה המקצועית. ישראל היא מדינה קטנה ללא עומק אסטרטגי. גבולות בני הגנה הכרחיים עבורה כדי להבטיח את קיום העם היהודי במולדתו ההסטורית. אמשיך לפעול כדי שעוד מדינות יצטרפו לארצות הברית (בראשות הנשיא טראמפ) ולקולומביה (בראשות הנשיא דה לה אספרייה) להכרה בריבונות ישראל על הגולן, עליו הוחל החוק הישראלי לפני 45 שנים.

דבריו המחליאים של שר החוץ של טורקיה @HakanFidan הם הסתה ברורה לרצח עם. דה-הומניזציה של העם היהודי והצגתו כ״נטל בלתי נסבל״ היא השפה הקלאסית של הצוררים הגדולים בהיסטוריה. על העולם הנאור ובנות בריתה של טורקיה בנאט"ו לגנות באופן חד-משמעי את הקריאה המפורשת הזו להשמדתה של ישראל.

Turkish FM @HakanFidan’s sickening words are textbook incitement to genocide. Dehumanizing the Jewish people as an "unbearable burden" is the classic, horrific language of history’s worst eliminationist regimes. The civilized world and Turkey's NATO allies must unequivocally condemn this explicit call for the erasure of Israel.

בדיון באוגוסט 2020 בוועדה לסדר הדין הפלילי בראשות השופטת ארבל ביוזמת החקיקה שלי לפסילת ראיה שהושגה שלא כדין. עדנה ארבל פתחה הדיון ב״גילוי נאות״ על כך שהייתי עוזר משפטי שלה כמעט רבע מאה(!) לפני כן. החוק חוקק, בסופו של דבר, בתקופת כהונתי כשר המשפטים. יהי זכרה ברוך. t.co/Qw8vNsbfvE

הצטערתי מאוד לשמוע על פטירתה של שופטת בית המשפט העליון בדימוס עדנה ארבל. עדנה ארבל שירתה את מדינת ישראל במסירות לאורך עשרות שנים - כשופטת, כפרקליטת המדינה ובתפקידים ציבוריים נוספים. בצעירותי זכיתי לעבוד לצידה כעוזר משפטי בעת שכיהנה כפרקליטת המדינה וכן במהלך תקופה קצרה בה כיהנה כמ״מ היועץ המשפטי לממשלה. לאחר פרישתה משיפוט כיהנה השופטת ארבל תקופה ארוכה כיו״ר הוועדה המייעצת לסדר דין פלילי. בתפקיד זה תרמה השופטת ארבל מניסיונה ארוך השנים במשפט הפלילי. בתקופה זו עבדנו ביחד, בעת שכיהנתי כשר המשפטים, במהלך קידום חקיקת חוק פסילת ראיה שהושגה שלא כדין. עדנה הייתה אישה ישרה, ציונית, אוהבת אדם ואוהבת המדינה. היא ניחנה באנושיות, במאור פנים, בחוכמת הלב וביכולת מנהיגות. את חייה ליוותה מחויבות עמוקה למדינת ישראל, לביטחונה ולמאבק עיקש בפשיעה. תנחומי לבנותיה ולמשפחתה הרחבה. יהי זכרה ברוך.

אחרי ששמעו את כל פרשת התביעה וגם את עדות ראש הממשלה במלואה - חוזרים השופטים על המלצתם לתביעה למחוק את אישום השוחד נגד ראש הממשלה נתניהו. המשפט המופרך הזה נמשך כבר שש וחצי (!) שנים וגרם נזקים כבדים למדינת ישראל. קראתי לסיימו בהקדם, עוד לפני למעלה משלוש שנים, כחבר האופוזיציה, אחרי שהשופטים המליצו את אותה המלצה לתביעה. התביעה אטמה את אוזניה, כפי שסרבה גם להליך גישור שהוצע ע״י בית המשפט. בשלב זה - המשך התחפרות התביעה בסרבנותה למחוק את סעיף השוחד יהיה ביזיון, ממש כמו המשך קיום המשפט הזה.
