   "text": "אחרי ששמעו את כל פרשת התביעה וגם את עדות ראש הממשלה במלואה - חוזרים השופטים על המלצתם לתביעה למחוק את אישום השוחד נגד ראש הממשלה נתניהו. \nהמשפט המופרך הזה נמשך כבר שש וחצי (!) שנים וגרם נזקים כבדים למדינת ישראל. קראתי לסיימו בהקדם, עוד לפני למעלה משלוש שנים, כחבר האופוזיציה, אחרי שהשופטים המליצו את אותה המלצה לתביעה. \nהתביעה אטמה את אוזניה,  כפי שסרבה גם להליך גישור שהוצע ע״י בית המשפט.  \nבשלב זה - המשך התחפרות התביעה בסרבנותה למחוק את סעיף השוחד יהיה ביזיון, ממש כמו המשך קיום המשפט הזה.",

   "text": "הצטערתי מאוד לשמוע על פטירתה של שופטת בית המשפט העליון בדימוס עדנה ארבל.\n\nעדנה ארבל שירתה את מדינת ישראל במסירות לאורך עשרות שנים - כשופטת, כפרקליטת המדינה ובתפקידים ציבוריים נוספים. \n\nבצעירותי זכיתי לעבוד לצידה כעוזר משפטי בעת שכיהנה כפרקליטת המדינה וכן במהלך תקופה קצרה בה כיהנה כמ״מ היועץ המשפטי לממשלה. \n\nלאחר פרישתה משיפוט כיהנה השופטת ארבל תקופה ארוכה כיו״ר הוועדה המייעצת לסדר דין פלילי. בתפקיד זה תרמה השופטת ארבל מניסיונה ארוך השנים במשפט הפלילי. בתקופה זו עבדנו ביחד, בעת שכיהנתי כשר המשפטים,  במהלך קידום חקיקת חוק פסילת ראיה שהושגה שלא כדין. \n\nעדנה הייתה אישה ישרה, ציונית, אוהבת אדם ואוהבת המדינה. היא ניחנה באנושיות, במאור פנים, בחוכמת הלב וביכולת מנהיגות. \nאת חייה ליוותה מחויבות עמוקה למדינת ישראל, לביטחונה ולמאבק עיקש בפשיעה. \n\nתנחומי לבנותיה ולמשפחתה הרחבה.  \nיהי זכרה ברוך.",

   "text": "קבענו עקרון ברור – לא ניתן לפעול נגד ישראל מבלי שישראל תנקוט צעדי תגובה הולמים.\n\nברוח זו יושמו הצעדים שעליהם הכרזתי ב-8 בספטמבר:\n\n1. סילוק הנציגים הבריטים ממרכז הסיוע הבינלאומי לעזה בקרית גת.\n2. הפסקת הפעילות הבריטית להכשרת כוחות הרשות הפלסטינית ביהודה ושומרון.\n3. מניעת כניסתם לישראל של 12 נבחרי ציבור ואזרחים בריטים אחרים המעורבים בפעילות אנטישמית ואנטי-ישראלית וכאלו אשר שוללים את עצם קיומה של מדינת ישראל.\n4. הקונסוליה הבריטית בירושלים מסיימת את פעילותה היום. בהתאם, השלט של הקונסוליה הבריטית בירושלים הוסר. \n\nלא רצינו להגיע לכך, אבל פעולות ממשלת הלייבור הובילו אותנו לכאן. \n\nההחלטה האחרונה בסדרה היתה ליזום שורה של סנקציות מרחיקות-לכת כנגד ההתיישבות ביהודה ושומרון, כמו גם סנקציות נוספות שעניינן הרחבת השעיית רישיונות ייצוא ביטחוני לישראל. כל זאת, לצד רטוריקה עויינת הכוללת האשמות שקריות נגד ישראל, כגון ב״טיהור אתני״.  \n\nהחלטה זו מצטרפת לשורה הולכת ומסלימה של צעדים חד-צדדיים נגד ישראל שאימצה ממשלת הלייבור מאז כניסתה לתפקיד ביולי 2024. \nצעדים אלה כללו בין היתר, הכרה חד-צדדית ב\"מדינה פלסטינית\" וירטואלית בספטמבר 2025; חידוש המימון לאונר״א; השעיית רישיונות לייצוא ביטחוני לישראל; הטלת סנקציות על שרים ישראלים; הטלת סנקציות על יחידים וגופים ישראליים; השעיית המשא ומתן על הסכם סחר חופשי; הגבלת השתתפותה הרשמית של ישראל בתערוכה בינלאומית לציוד ביטחון והגנה בבריטניה; הקפאת הדיאלוג הצבאי ושיתוף הפעולה הביטחוני; מניעת השתתפותם של קציני צה״ל בהשתלמות בקולג׳ המלכותי ללימודי ביטחון; התקפות מגמתיות  חוזרות ונשנות וחד-צדדיות נגד ישראל בזירה הבינ\"ל.\n\nבשבוע האחרון קיימנו דיאלוג עם ממשלת בריטניה במטרה למנוע הסלמה נוספת ביחסים בין המדינות עקב סגירת הקונסוליה. \n\nאמש הגענו להבנות המבוססות על העקרונות הבאים:\n\n1. כפי שהודעתי - הקונסוליה הבריטית בירושלים סיימה את תפקידה היום. הקונסולית הכללית ו-20 דיפלומטים (כולל הקונסולית הכללית) מסיימים את תפקידם ויעזבו את ישראל. \n\n2. המבנה ששימש את הקונסוליה הוא רכושה של ממשלת בריטניה. אישרנו לממשלת בריטניה להפעיל במבנה, שחדל לשמש היום כקונסוליה, צוות משימה של 7 דיפלומטים בלבד בהיקף פעילות מצומצם מאוד. \n3. סיכמנו על המשך דיאלוג בין הממשלות במסגרתו שני הצדדים יוכלו להעלות את הסוגיות החשובות עבור כל אחת מהן. \n\nאנחנו מאמינים בדיאלוג ונמשיך להאמין בדיאלוג.  לצערנו בשנים האחרונות לא התקיים דיאלוג אמיתי עם ממשלת הלייבור. זאת, על אף יחסים טובים עם בריטניה, הבאים לידי ביטוי בין היתר בשת\"פ ביטחוני ומודיעיני. היחסים בין ישראל ובריטניה חשובים, והוכיחו שוב ושוב את ערכם גם בהגנה על חייהם ועל האינטרסים של אזרחי בריטניה. רק לאחרונה העבירה ישראל  לבריטניה מידע חיוני בפרשת RAF Fairford. \n\nכל ארבעת הצעדים בהצהרה שלי מ-8 בספטמבר - מומשו. \nלצד זאת, הגענו להבנות שמשרתות את האינטרסים הישראלים.\nבהתאם להבנות שהגענו אליהן לא יינקטו צעדים נגד ישראל כתוצאה מיישום ההחלטות. \nאני מודה לכל מי שעסק בדיאלוג ובשיח ותרם להגעה להבנות בשני הצדדים. \n\nאינני יכול להבטיח שלא יהיו משברים נוספים בעתיד. אם יהיו - נעמוד בהם על בסיס עקרונותינו. חשוב להדגיש שוב שלא אנחנו יזמנו את המשבר הנוכחי. \n\nאנחנו מעוניינים ביחסים טובים עם כל מדינות העולם. אבל כל מדינה שתפעל נגד ישראל צריכה לדעת שיהיה לכך מחיר. \nהיא לא תרוויח מכך, אלא להיפך.\nהסתיימה תקופת ההכלה הישראלית - במישור הבטחוני והמדיני כאחד.",

   "text": "We established a clear principle: It is not possible to act against Israel without Israel taking appropriate measures in response.\n\nIn this spirit, the measures I announced on 8 September have been implemented:\n\n1.The removal of the British representatives from the International Gaza Support Center in Kiryat Gat.\n2.The termination of British activity to train Palestinian Authority forces in Judea and Samaria.\n3.The denial of entry to Israel of 12 British elected officials and other British citizens involved in antisemitic and anti-Israel activity, as well as those who deny our very right to exist. \n4.The British Consulate in Jerusalem is ending its operations today. Accordingly, the sign of the British Consulate in Jerusalem has been removed.\n\nWe did not want to reach this point, but the actions of the UK Labour Government brought us here.\n\nTheir latest decision in this series was to initiate a range of far-reaching sanctions against the communities in Judea and Samaria, as well as additional sanctions on defence exports to Israel. All this was accompanied by hostile rhetoric, including false accusations against Israel, such as accusations of “ethnic cleansing.”\n\nThis decision adds to a growing and escalating series of unilateral measures against Israel adopted by the Labour Government since taking office in July 2024.\n\nThese measures included, among others, unilateral recognition of a virtual “Palestinian state” in September 2025; the renewal of funding to UNRWA; the suspension of licences for defence exports to Israel; the imposition of sanctions on Israeli ministers; the imposition of sanctions on Israeli individuals and entities; the suspension of negotiations on a free trade agreement; restrictions on Israel’s official participation in an international defence and security equipment exhibition in Britain; the freezing of military dialogue and security cooperation; the prevention of IDF officers from participating in training at the Royal College of Defence Studies; and repeated, biased and unilateral attacks against Israel in the international arena.",

   "text": "Over the past week, we held a dialogue with the British Government with the aim of preventing further deterioration  in relations between the countries as a result of the closure of the Consulate.\n\nLast night, we reached understandings based on the following principles:\n\n1. As I announced, the British Consulate in Jerusalem ended its role today. The Consul General and 19 diplomats are ending their assignments and will leave Israel.\n\n2. The building that served as the Consulate is the property of the British Government. We have allowed the British Government to operate a task force of only seven diplomats from the building, which ceased to function as a consulate today. Their scope of activity will be very limited.\n\n3. We agreed on the continuation of dialogue between the governments, within which both sides will be able to raise issues important to them.\n\nWe believe in dialogue and will continue to believe in dialogue. Unfortunately, in recent years, no genuine dialogue has taken place with the Labour Government. This is despite good relations with Britain, reflected, among other things, in security and intelligence cooperation. Relations between Israel and Britain are important and have repeatedly proven their value also in protecting the lives and interests of British citizens. Only recently, Israel provided Britain with vital information in the RAF Fairford affair.\n\nAll four measures in my statement of 8 September have been implemented.\n\nAlongside this, we reached understandings that serve Israel’s interests.\n\nIn accordance with the understandings we reached, no measures will be taken against Israel as a result of the implementation of the decisions.\n\nI thank everyone who was involved in the dialogue and discussions and contributed to reaching the understandings on both sides.\n\nI cannot promise that there will not be further crises in the future. If there are, we will face them on the basis of our core principles. It is important to emphasise again that we did not initiate the current situation.\n\nWe are interested in good relations with all the countries of the world. But any country that acts against Israel must know that there will be a price for doing so.\n\nIt will not gain from this, but quite the opposite.\n\nIsrael will no longer turn its cheek to diplomatic attacks against it.",

   "text": "במהלך השנים האחרונות קראתי שוב ושוב בראיונות לתקשורת, בכנסים פומביים וברשתות החברתיות לסיים את סאגת משפט נתניהו. עשיתי זאת עוד ב-2023, בהיותי באופוזיציה. \nהתיק הפך זה מכבר לגרוטסקה של אכיפת חוק. \nקו פרשת המים היה קריאת השופטים לשקול מחדש את סעיף השוחד, ממנה התעקשה התביעה להתעלם. \n\nבמהלך המשפט נחשפו שוב ושוב כשלים חמורים ואף עבירות על החוק שבוצעו על ידי רשויות אכיפת החוק. \nהתביעה טרחה לגייס לתיק מופרך זה לא פחות מ-3 (!) עדי מדינה. \nעבירת השוחד (על סעיף תקדימי של סיקור תקשורתי) נשרה עוד במהלך שמיעת התיק. היום התברר שהפרסומים הרלוונטיים שבבסיסה כלל לא נבחנו ע״י מי שחתם על כתב האישום. \nנותרנו עם העבירה העמומה של הפרת אמונים, שהולבשה, למשל, על אישום בגין עבירה לפי חוק המתנות כדי להעצימה. \n\nמאידך - כל אדם ששמע, כמוני, הבוקר רק את תחילת עדותו של היועץ המשפטי לממשלה לשעבר מנדלבליט, יודע שבוצעו עבירות פליליות (לרבות של הפרת אמונים) על ידי אנשי רשויות אכיפת החוק במהלך החקירה. \nכל זה קרה בחקירה נגד ראש ממשלה בישראל.  \n\nהתומכים בהמשך ניהול ההליך השיפוטי לא יוכלו להתעלם מכך שכעת הדבר משרת רק תכלית אחת: חשיפת האמת על אופן פעולת רשויות אכיפת החוק בפרשה וריסוק האמון הציבורי בהן עד דק. \n\nשש שנים וחצי של משפט (בערכאה ראשונה) שעדיין רחוק מסיומו ומה שנותר הוא רק הוכחה מובהקת לקיומו של מסע ציד, של רדיפה חסרת מעצורים נגד ראש ממשלה. \nאפשר לתמוך בהמשך כהונת נתניהו או להתנגד לכך. מהאמת אי אפשר עוד להתעלם.",

   "text": "Another diplomatic achievement: Israel joins the Pacific Islands Forum (PIF) as a Forum Partner. \n\nThe Secretary General of the Pacific Islands Forum, Baron Divavesi Waqa, has informed me that Israel has been accepted as a Forum Partner, following a decision at the meeting of the Forum’s member state leaders in Palau.\n\nThis follows my visit to Fiji in June, where I met with the Secretary General and presented Israel’s request to join the Forum.\n\nStrengthening ties with the Pacific Island nations is one of my objectives. Earlier this year, I opened Israel’s Embassy in Fiji, which also serves nine other Pacific Island nations, all friendly to Israel. \nUnder the current government, three of these countries, Papua New Guinea, Fiji and Nauru, have opened embassies in Jerusalem.\n\nAs a Forum Partner, Israel will participate in a framework for cooperation in areas of mutual interest, based on regional priorities and Israel’s expertise in water management, desalination, agriculture, tackling climate change, innovation and sustainable development.\n\nIsrael and the Forum will also develop a joint action plan setting out practical areas of cooperation and a mechanism to monitor progress.",
