🇩🇪🇸🇪🇬🇧 Germany is shopping for a new fighter jet partner, and it has 2 offers Its own defense officials want to build the jet with Sweden and Spain, while Britain’s prime minister wants Germany to join the UK’s project with Italy and Japan. Germany needs a new partner because its jet project with France fell apart in June, after years of fighting between their companies. Advice papers inside Germany’s defense ministry say Sweden and Spain are the better bet, since those countries need the same kind of jet and Germany would get a fairer share of the work. They also take a swipe at Britain’s top defense company, BAE Systems, saying it didn’t treat Germany as an equal partner the last time they built a jet together. Nothing’s decided yet, and Germany’s defense minister hasn’t backed either option. And after how things ended with France, you can see why Berlin is taking its time. 🇺🇸 Anti-ICE students at Florida’s biggest university get OVERPOWERED by a counter-chant! Roughly 50 people gathered outside the admin building, asking campus police to scrap their deal with ICE. Conservatives showed up and started yelling “deport Sneako,” so loudly the original group got drowned out. On a campus of 55,000, that turnout speaks for itself 😂 Writer: Lucas t.co/woj20yygjV

🔥🇯🇵 Not every racist trope used in America has the same meaning and applies in other countries… and for all the traveling that Kai Cenat has done, he should know that. Instead, he's out there trying to throw hands with a straight-up ninja! They call it a language barrier for a reason, and I don’t think this Japanese guy intended to be rude. I do respect his bow and apology at the end, though! Writer: Jamie t.co/iCcH7hR7m4

🇵🇸Palestinians continue to be STARVED as food aid RUNS DRY The UN World Food Programme stripped 500,000 people of food assistance practically overnight. Funding shortfalls forced monthly assistance down from 1.6 million residents to 1.1 million. Rations were SLASHED and daily hot meal distribution collapsed for displaced families. 🚨DAILY NEWS RECAP: The Gulf, Pakistan and Washington now expect a full-scale Iran war to restart, and some think this weekend... while Trump’s inner circle buys BUNKERS American planes are leaving Qatar and the embassy families are already gone, and every contact from Riyadh to Islamabad to DC says the same thing: the strike decision is made, regime change is off the table, and the only argument left is whether it starts this weekend or after November 3... Then it gets strange... Kushner joined the Zelensky talks only by video, and the island he’s building in Albania apparently comes with nuclear bunkers, which is why Albanians are rioting over it. Huge red flag. Thiel bought a compound deep in the Argentine mountains, one of the few places a nuclear war wouldn’t reach. Another blaring red flag... What do the people closest to Trump know that the rest of us don’t? People on the Hill are circulating one theory about chief of staff Susie Wiles... is she the firewall keeping John Brennan from prosecution, and keeping the CIA’s and Netanyahu’s interests inside the bubble? Iran names undersea cables and data centers as targets, the New York Times lays out a three day post midterm campaign with Pickax Mountain on it, Aramco clears its headquarters a day after a Houthi missile hit King Fahd airport, and Zelensky waits on Rubio to restore full Starlink speeds. Black October rounds it out: a 1990s PHP flaw has the NSA patching core servers and the FBI telling companies to pull the plug, Microsoft blames China, and US intelligence has tools built to make its own attacks look foreign. Put the pieces together and the picture only gets darker, especially since the people with the best information are the ones PACKING their bags. Watch this one before the weekend, because by Monday it may already be a whole different war. @WeTheBrandon

🇳🇱🇺🇸 A new book claims Dutch spies caught Kushner moving money from an Arab-funded account worth hundreds of millions. The excerpt alleges access to his phone revealed a Dubai account funded through Azerbaijan, with Arab leaders allegedly placing at least $2B in accounts tied to him. Kushner’s lawyer denies the accounts ever existed. Dutch officials and the banks have not confirmed the claims. The story is explosive if it holds up. So far it’s one author’s sources against a flat denial. Source: Vanity Fair / Writer: Lucas

🇮🇷🇺🇸 Iran can cut the Gulf’s data line to Asia with a fishing dhow and a dragged anchor, no divers needed... and when the cable snaps, Abu Dhabi’s stock exchange could go dark with it The fiber bundles running through Hormuz are no wider than a fist, hundreds of dhows cross them every day with many tied to the IRGC, and he says the Russians have already done it in the Baltic. Malcolm Nance, former Navy cryptologist, calls it a knife to the jugular. He expects Israel to throw the first pitch, and Iran to answer by going after America’s Gulf partners: “They’re going to hit our buddies, and they’re going to make us regret the very day that they listen to our promises.” Malcolm doesn’t expect 200 or 300 missiles on Israel, he expects Gulf energy and data, and if Trump decides to take Iran off the oil market entirely, Americans pay $2 to $3 more a gallon almost immediately. If Iran moves first, his bet is Friday night, after prayers. @MalcolmNance

🚨🇺🇸🇮🇷 Troops and military families leak photos of burned aircraft, bombed barracks and self-dug foxholes from the Iran war, and say the Pentagon threatened them for sharing any of it The images come through MeidasTouch and VALOR Media from anonymous service members, contractors and spouses. What they describe, base by base: -Prince Sultan, Saudi Arabia: dining halls, workspaces and dorms destroyed; an AWACS and two KC-135 tankers damaged in one strike that reportedly injured 10 to 12; bunkers delivered with no doors; a photo sources say is a destroyed C-17 that the Pentagon has never acknowledged -Muwaffaq Salti, Jordan: three months of incoming so frequent the alarms couldn't keep up; F-15s, F-35s and Reapers damaged; a ballistic missile got past interceptors and hit barracks on July 17, killing three, with troops saying they heard the wounded calling from inside the flames; housing hit twice; troops told they were going home, then ordered to stay after throwing out their bedding -Camp Buehring, Kuwait: some troops lived out of a van in the desert for three months; September photos show the camp nearly abandoned -UAE: no warning the war was starting, no shelters, only security teams armed; troops hid in hotels ordering takeout or dug their own foxholes; leadership described as "rudderless" -Bahrain: Fifth Fleet headquarters damaged; families say evacuation planes were waiting but the Pentagon refused because it would "look bad at home," then the airport was hit; some paid tens of thousands to escape, hid in a mall parking garage, or were housed in residential buildings that were struck within hours; senior leaders reportedly flown out under cover of a "training exercise" -Across the force: no embedded press, rumors of year-plus extensions, troops saying they learned the war began from the news and don't know what they're fighting for The Pentagon’s latest number to Congress is $43.6 billion for the war, $45.1 billion with fuel, and base damage still isn’t in it. The people who lived in those bases just filled in the blank, and the strike plan for November expects them to do it again. Source: @MeidasTouch / Writer: Daniel

🇺🇸 Mamdani and the Teamsters are PUSHING a bill FORCING Amazon to hire its own delivery drivers in New York. At City Hall, he joined Teamsters President Sean O’Brien and Amazon workers to back the Delivery Protection Act, which would ban subcontractors for last-mile deliveries. 🚨🇮🇷🇺🇸 A senior Iranian lawmaker just asked Tehran to authorize NUCLEAR weapons if the US strikes again... for a bomb Iran says it supposedly doesn't have The committee chairman also wants Iran out of the Non-Proliferation Treaty the day a strike lands, and warned any country lending airspace will "pay a heavy price," which covers Iraq, the Gulf states and everyone the Israeli jets overflew Monday. The late supreme leader's fatwa called nuclear weapons forbidden; Netanyahu said Wednesday the son has "taken the safety off." Nobody outside Tehran knows which is true, and a parliament asking permission to use a weapon it officially doesn't possess is either theater for the pressure track or the loudest public hint yet that the fatwa is gone. Either reading hands the strike planners in Washington EXACTLY the argument they were looking for. Source: Al Jazeera / Writer: Daniel

🇺🇸🇮🇷 Trump met the founder of the Nobel winning anti nuclear doctors' group in 1986 and is still talking denuclearization 40 years later... with the Doomsday Clock at 85 seconds, the question is which Trump walks into the Situation Room after November 3 The New York Times says the post midterm plan is a three day campaign on nuclear sites, missiles and energy, with Pickax Mountain on the list, a target a retired Army general says conventional bombs can't crack. Dr. Ivana Hughes, president of the Nuclear Age Peace Foundation, who teaches at Columbia, says that unlike nearly every president before him, Trump could land at either end of the scale: "You could literally imagine him using a nuclear weapon, and you could literally imagine him pursuing a nuclear abolition agreement." She traces the second instinct to a meeting in 1986, she believes, with the founder of International Physicians for the Prevention of Nuclear War, about disarmament talks with Gorbachev. One bomb on one capital would kill millions instantly by her count, and the war games keep ending the same way, so the Trump of 1986 is the one the world needs on the night the plan lands on his desk. @WeTheBrandon @IvanaNHughes

🇺🇸 Trump’s Justice Department is gearing up for legal fights with states over voting before the midterms It’s already suing California over 18,000 voters it suspects might be noncitizens, and more states could be next. Attorney General Todd Blanche says there’s no plan to interfere when states sign off on results, but he wouldn’t rule it out, pointing to a possible “doomsday” scenario he didn’t explain. The thing is, the DOJ has no general legal power to hold up election certification. States and local officials are the ones who run elections and sign off on the results. Saying you won’t hold up certification while refusing to rule it out, 12 days before the midterms, is quite the combo. Source: NBC News / Writer: Daniyal
