Things are very quiet tonight on the Iran front, and that's worrying. Unless someone changes Trump's mind ASAP, he and the Israelis will strike Iran this weekend Not after the midterms. THIS weekend

🇺🇸🇩🇰 The U.S. and Denmark just signed a deal to build more American ships together The plan is to train more U.S. shipyard workers, bring Danish money into American shipyards, and use better tech to build and fix ships faster. That’s a big change from January, when Trump kept saying he wanted to take Greenland and Danish officials rushed to the White House to cool things down. Last month, Trump said the 2 sides had made a security deal on Greenland. The U.S. has signed similar ship deals with South Korea and Finland, as it tries to catch up with China, which builds most of the world’s ships. From fighting over Greenland to building ships together, it’s been quite a year for these 2 allies. Source: US News / Writer: Daniyal

🇺🇸 Trump is on the move again and this time its wheels up to Iowa. The president won this state by 13% two years ago but his own weakened standing has complicated the Republican’s chances in the midterms. Democrat Josh Turek and Republican Ashley Hinson will square off in November to represent Iowa in the Senate. At the moment the Republicans are ahead. Iowa hasn't elected a Democrat to the Senate since 2008. Let's see if Trump can keep it a red stronghold… Writer: Bri t.co/bydnWBKRwY

🇺🇸 A top federal prosecutor says all 20,000 voters he flagged in California aren’t U.S. citizens Bill Essayli says every one of them got a mail ballot this month, and he wants a court to make California set them aside. He also calls 20,000 the bare minimum, with thousands more names likely on the way. California says his list is full of mistakes, though. LA County checked 200 of those names and says 112 were already off the active rolls, so they never even got sent a ballot. There’s one big problem, though. Once a ballot’s signature is checked, it’s pulled from its envelope and can’t be traced back to anyone. With hundreds of thousands of ballots already processed in LA alone, this judge is racing the clock. Source: Fox News / Writer: Daniyal

🇪🇺🇷🇺 Ursula von der Leyen says RUSSIA IS USING MASS MIGRATION as a weapon against EUROPE The EU chief accuses Russia of deliberately pushing migrants toward European borders to overwhelm authorities, spread fear and divide the continent. She now wants new emergency powers to deal with these situations. Brussels has SPENT YEARS defending migration and asylum as part of Europe's values. Now it's warning that hostile governments can exploit those same systems to destabilize Europe. Completely ridiculous. And pretty revealing who is actually behind it all... 🇺🇸 Elon's Tesla Roadster has the US Transportation Sec. wondering whether America's regulations can even keep up. Sean Duffy was asked about the futuristic vehicle and its supposed ability to fly using compressed air. “Do you think we have rules for a flying compressed air car? We don't.” Duffy admitted he initially thought the footage was AI-generated after seeing the car apparently flip and jump over other vehicles. “I mean, this is unbelievable.” He praised Elon and Tesla for pushing innovation. 🇺🇸🇮🇷 Trump admits his war with Iran could be COSTING him politically, but insists some Americans absolutely LOVE what he's doing 🤣 Asked how the war is affecting the races, Trump gave a surprisingly candid answer: “In one way, they love it, because I'm doing what should've been done by other presidents. In another way, maybe they don't.” He acknowledged there's a political price to pay, but argued that preventing Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon justified his decision. 🇺🇸 The DOJ just listed ILHAN OMAR UNDER A DIFFERENT NAME in a federal court filing And now everyone wants to KNOW WHY. The document identifies the Minnesota congresswoman as “Ilhan Nur Said Elmi, a/k/a Ilhan Abdullahi Omar.” Elmi is the surname of her former husband, Ahmed Nur Said Elmi, whose relationship with Omar has been the subject of years of controversy and unproven allegations. But here's the important detail. The Justice Department doesn't explain why it used that name, and the filing provides no evidence that Omar committed fraud. Meanwhile, federal investigators are examining her immigration history, family records and citizenship paperwork. Omar denies wrongdoing and has not been charged. Writer: Oliver t.co/Lwa6ZMnZpI

🚨 THE INTERNET IS GETTING HAMMERED BY CYBERATTACKS AND NOW AI IS MAKING THE HACKERS DANGEROUSLY EFFICIENT Look at what's happened in just days. Zeabur suffered a breach exposing data associated with 321,810 accounts and millions of stored environment variables. Railway warned that hackers may have accessed decrypted customer secrets. OVHcloud had malicious software planted in its developer tools. And Reuters uncovered something even more disturbing. One hacker reportedly used AI agents to break into more than 100 company websites, including sites associated with Deere and SharkNinja, while doing almost none of the technical work personally. Meanwhile, American banks are discovering unauthorized AI agents accessing customer accounts. The really frightening shift isn't just that hackers are getting into more systems. They're beginning to automate the entire process. A few instructions. An AI agent. Hundreds of potential targets. The cost of launching cyberattacks is collapsing, while the damage they can cause is anything but. Source: Axios, Reuters / Writer: Oliver

🇺🇸🇮🇷 The next Iran escalation could turn into total war I spoke with retired U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel Anthony Aguilar about what another round of American and Israeli strikes on Iran might actually look like. He believes it could happen within days, before the Israeli elections. But what disturbed me most was his reaction to new accounts from American troops describing damaged bases, inadequate shelters and chaotic evacuations during earlier Iranian attacks. Anthony has served at some of those very bases. He says they were never designed to withstand sustained ballistic missile strikes. Then we discussed what comes next. He expects Iran to retaliate against U.S. installations across the Gulf, but fears the fighting could go much further, with power stations, desalination plants and other civilian infrastructure becoming targets. I pressed him on the consequences of systematically attacking water supplies in a region where millions depend on desalination. His fear is that the next escalation could destroy infrastructure that entire populations depend on to survive. And even if the fighting with Iran eventually stops, Anthony worries the conflicts spreading through Yemen, Saudi Arabia and the Red Sea could continue long afterward.

🇪🇹 ETHIOPIA IS ERUPTING INTO DEADLY ETHNIC CLASHES HUNDREDS OF CIVILIANS ARE FLEEING INTO KENYA The border town of Moyale has become a battleground between Oromo and Somali regional forces. And the latest bloodshed reportedly began over a flag. A dispute over which regional government controls part of the town escalated into gunfire, leaving a 13-year-old girl dead. Now homes have reportedly been attacked, rival armed groups are fighting in the streets, and Ethiopian federal troops have been deployed to contain the violence. Local reports put the death toll above 17, with around 100 injured, although those figures remain unconfirmed. Meanwhile, hundreds of terrified civilians, many of them women and children, are crossing into Kenya. An argument over who gets to fly a flag has reignited a territorial conflict, and ordinary families are paying for it with their lives. 🇺🇸🇦🇪🇸🇦 New book claims Gulf leaders gave Kushner secret access to $2 billion Investigative journalist Matthew Cole says UAE and Saudi leaders put the money into at least 2 accounts tied to Kushner during Trump’s first term, and that Kushner never disclosed his access to them. And the way it surfaced is wild. Dutch spies flipped a Russian hacker, slipped into a Russian server, and found screenshots of Kushner’s phone sitting right there. So they found a way into his phone themselves, and watched him log into a Dubai bank account holding hundreds of millions of dollars. Kushner’s lawyers say he has no knowledge of any such accounts and never broke any laws, insisting there are no accounts and never were. The book drops next week, and these are some pretty serious claims that still need independent verification. Source: Vanity Fair / Writer: Daniyal

🇮🇷🇺🇸 IRAN is ACCUSING THE WEST of hiding who started the war by simply calling it the “IRAN CONFLICT” And there's actual academic research behind the argument. Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baqaei points to a study by American University researchers. Their finding? America's 2003 invasion became the “Iraq War,” while Russia's 2022 invasion is routinely described as Russia's war against Ukraine. One name leaves the invading country out. The other puts it front and center. Now Tehran is asking why the fighting involving America and Israel is so often labeled the “Iran conflict.” Baqaei argues that putting Iran in the title while leaving Washington and Israel unnamed subtly shifts the public's understanding of responsibility. The researchers' broader point: Even the words we use to describe wars can reflect the interests of the countries powerful enough to name them. And once a name sticks, millions of people repeat it without thinking twice. Writer: Oliver

Daily News Recap 🇸🇦🇾🇪 Even if the latest Saudi strike triggered this round of fighting, the conflict itself never really ended The blockade remained in place after the 2022 ceasefire. Meanwhile, the situation is escalating fast. Houthi strikes have hit Saudi oil infrastructure and King Fahd International Airport, while Reuters reported Aramco staff were told to leave headquarters and work remotely. This is moving well beyond a border skirmish. @WeTheBrandon

🇺🇸 The U.S. plans to put $175 million into a fusion startup backed by Jared Kushner’s brother The startup is called Helion, and the government would get a non-voting stake in return. It’s got some big names behind it, like Josh Kushner’s investment firm, Peter Thiel’s fund and OpenAI boss Sam Altman, who owns about a third of it. Helion wants to open the world’s first fusion power plant by 2028, basically copying the reaction that powers the Sun. Scientists have made fusion happen in labs, but nobody has turned it into a power plant that can reliably supply electricity yet. As for the Kushner link, his firm says neither it nor Josh talked to the administration about the deal. If Helion cracks it, Washington would own a slice of the future, and if it doesn’t, the old joke about fusion always being 10 years away gets another decade. 🇺🇦🇷🇺 Zelensky thinks even RUSSIA would be safer if Ukraine joined NATO. Yes, the same NATO expansion Moscow has spent years opposing. He argues that NATO membership would provide Russia with greater security than keeping Ukraine outside the alliance. “I believe that even the Russians need Ukraine to join NATO, because that would provide them with greater security than Ukraine remaining outside NATO.” Dude, I don't know who advised you to say that, but it wasn't exactly the smartest thing you've ever said. Daily News Recap 🇮🇷 The biggest escalation risk may now come from Iran’s command structure itself. Tehran has reactivated its “Mosaic” defense doctrine, giving regional IRGC commanders more freedom to act if they think a strike is coming. That means a local commander could misread aircraft movements as the start of an attack and fire first. No direct order from Tehran required. That’s the dangerous part. Once decision-making gets pushed downward during a crisis, one bad read can turn a standoff into a war. @WeTheBrandon
