🇺🇸🇮🇷 The U.S. is DENYING it struck an Iranian naval base today. Reports earlier today said U.S. strikes hit the Konarak Naval Base on Iran’s southeastern coast and wounded 2 Iranian soldiers. It would have been the first U.S. strike on Iran in nearly 7 weeks. Now a U.S. official says Iran’s claim that the U.S. struck the base is “inaccurate ... as usual.” Iran’s track record on war claims isn’t great, and the U.S. clearly isn’t buying this one either.
