🇺🇦🇷🇺 Zelensky’s own former spokesperson thinks he should pack his bags for Moscow Iuliia Mendel, who spoke for Zelensky from 2019 to 2021, wants him to meet Putin face to face and agree to compromises that could end the war. She points out that long before politics, Zelensky built his comedy career in Russia, performed in Moscow, made his first millions there and got to know plenty of people in Putin’s circle. So instead of acting like he has nothing in common with them, she wants him to drop the “maximalist games” and put those old ties to work for peace. Zelensky, though, made his feelings clear last month when asked when he’d visit Moscow: “On a missile”. Source: Fox News Digital / Writer: Daniyal

🇧🇷 Lula just turned his election victory speech into a public kissing ceremony. The 80-year-old Brazilian president invited Vice President Alckmin to join him in kissing their wives, saying women deserved to share in the victory. “Kissing is perhaps the most beautiful expression between people who love each other.” Then he finished with: “I love you.” Lula won another term and immediately decided Brazil needed a little romance. 🇧🇷 Lula says Brazil has an army “bigger than China’s, better than America’s and bigger than Russia’s.” Then he explains what he means: “The army of dignity, democracy, education and health.” So no, Brazil is not unveiling 3 million soldiers overnight. It is Lula turning military language into a victory-speech metaphor about social policy. Writer: Oliver t.co/NuIeQLdVsh

🇺🇸 JEFFREY EPSTEIN TURNED FAMOUS PEOPLE INTO BAIT FOR OTHER FAMOUS PEOPLE. Nine years of correspondence were traced between Epstein and Woody Allen, revealing how carefully he built his social network. In late 2010, Epstein wanted Allen at a dinner in his Manhattan townhouse. Prince Andrew was the draw. Once Allen agreed to come, his name immediately became part of the pitch to other guests. Emails promoted the dinner by listing Prince Andrew and Woody Allen together, giving the next invitee two prestigious reasons to show up. The investigation says Epstein spent heavily on Allen through gifts, favors and invitations, then used that relationship to reach deeper into cultural and political circles, including connections in France. One expert explained the psychology behind it: when someone is constantly surrounded by Harvard professors, celebrities and royalty, other people start thinking, “How bad could he be?” That social credibility was one of Epstein’s most useful tools for expanding the circle. 🇱🇧 Israeli troops bulldozed a home in southern Lebanon The CCTV camera shows the soldiers going inside, and then an armored bulldozer coming in and tearing through the place. 🇺🇸 THIS IS WHAT GROWING UP IN THORNWOOD LOOKED LIKE FOR THE PEOPLE WHO NEVER REALLY LEFT IT. A raw vlog from the Thornwood Apartments area of Chicago Heights follows a group explaining how deep their ties to the neighborhood go. Some grew up in the apartments, some have family there, and several said the bonds go back to kindergarten, high school and around 2012. They describe “194” and Thornwood as the end of the Heights, a place where entire stretches are apartments and cornerstones instead of houses. For them, the lifestyle started early. They talk about watching older guys, “jumping off the porch” young and learning the neighborhood before they were old enough to really understand it. What makes the footage interesting is the contrast. Nearby landmarks and major roads can make the area look ordinary from the outside. The people living there describe something completely different: a hood identity built over years, family ties, school connections and a culture that started long before the camera showed up. 🇲🇽 SEVERE FLOODING has hit Ciudad Juárez, Mexico, for the second time in just 48 hours. Heavy RAINFALL has sent floodwaters rushing through streets, sweeping away vehicles and flooding entire neighborhoods, particularly in the western part of the city. Authorities say rainfall in the surrounding mountains has made the situation worse, sending large volumes of water into urban areas. That means neighborhoods can be hit by sudden flooding even when there's little or no rain directly overhead. Writer: Oliver t.co/P6Md6J4nxW

IS THE INTERNET GOING TO BE LOCKED DOWN? Some very strange pieces are starting to line up. PM Modi warned that future wars could cripple countries without bombs ever falling, simply by taking down banks and financial systems. In Japan, the head of GMO Internet Group raised the possibility of an internet collapse after claims of fraudulent activity hit more than 70 brokerage and FX platforms. At the same time, G7 governments and central banks are running simulations for major AI-driven attacks on the financial system, and several of America’s biggest banks reportedly caught unauthorized AI agents trying to access customer accounts and act on their own. Then there’s Scott Bessent talking about a “grand economic reordering,” with stablecoins and AI part of the conversation around America’s $40 trillion debt. Maybe these are separate warnings. Maybe they aren’t. But if a major cyberattack ever freezes banks, trading platforms and transfers at the same time, people are going to accept almost any replacement system that gets their money moving again. 🇱🇾🇬🇧 A $10 MILLION GADDAFI MANSION HAS BEEN SITTING ABANDONED IN ONE OF LONDON’S RICHEST NEIGHBORHOODS FOR MORE THAN A DECADE. The house sits on “Billionaires Row” in North London, where mansions can sell for £20 million, even £65 million. Yet nearly one in three homes there is empty. This one once belonged to Saadi Gaddafi, son of Muammar Gaddafi. He bought it in 2009 through a British Virgin Islands company, with up to a dozen bedrooms, an indoor pool, gym, cinema and walls decorated with imitation diamonds. Then 2011 happened. Muammar Gaddafi was killed, Saadi fled Libya, and the mansion was effectively frozen in time. Activists later occupied it, hung banners from the balconies and declared that the property belonged to the Libyan people. A British court later ruled that the mansion had been purchased with Libyan state funds and transferred it to Libya. But Libya fractured, billions linked to the Gaddafi family were frozen, and the house became trapped in international legal battles. One of the strangest twists came when General Dynamics UK pursued Libya over unpaid contracts and a British court allowed the mansion to be used as collateral in a £16 million claim. So today, one of London’s most extravagant homes is basically a geopolitical pawn: too valuable to ignore, too legally tangled to use, and still sitting empty in a neighborhood filled with some of the richest people on Earth. 🇧🇷 The fight for FREE SPEECH just took ANOTHER LOSS, and this one stings. Political commentator David Wolf connects the dots from Romania to Pakistan to Brazil, seeing the same pattern play out again and again. 🇺🇸 AMERICANS ARE SPENDING MORE ON THE MILITARY IN ADJUSTED DOLLARS THAN THEY DID DURING WORLD WAR II. So where is all that money actually going? Stephen Semler told Tucker that Lockheed Martin got roughly 73% of its revenue from Pentagon contracts, and said that once U.S.-government-brokered foreign arms sales are included, about 97% of its revenue was tied to the government. Tucker boiled it down brutally: taxpayers fund the defense companies, then those companies use that money to lobby Congress for even more taxpayer money. Semler said the system is engineered to make weapons programs politically difficult to kill. Contractors deliberately spread suppliers, jobs and facilities across as many congressional districts as possible, giving lawmakers a direct local incentive to keep the money flowing. He even described helping lobby for the troubled Littoral Combat Ship. Despite serious technical problems, including cracks developing in aluminum hulls, lobbyists mapped every supplier and subcontractor tied to the program. Source: TCNetwork / Writer: Sol

🇧🇷 The financial markets were certain Bolsonaro would win. They were wrong, and now Brazil is paying for it in real time. Financial markets analyst David Wolf breaks down the damage. "We had the exchange rate in Brazil trading at 496 reais for $1 on Friday afternoon. Right now in Chicago it trades at 550. So it's roughly a 10% devaluation." And with Judge Alexandre de Moraes set to become Supreme Court president, Wolf says the real problem, besides Lula, is a judiciary with no checks left. @WeTheBrandon @jdw100

🇧🇷 Wall Street woke up to Lula’s win and dumped Brazil nearly 20% overnight. The iShares MSCI Brazil ETF, the main way U.S. investors bet on the country, sank from $42.59 at Friday’s close to around $34 in overnight trading. That’s roughly 19% gone in a single night, before Brazil’s own markets have even opened. Brazil’s voters had their say, and investors clearly had a very different opinion. 🇧🇷 The result landed like a shock, but the system that produced it was years in the making. Brazil's Federal Deputy for São Paulo, Luiz Philippe de Bragança, breaks down how a judiciary packed with presidential appointees and an electoral process with zero transparency created the perfect conditions for doubt. "Once you have this hiatus between the first round and the second round, and there's really no transparency or openness by the electoral authorities as to how they calculate and how they put together the voting systems, then it just creates a lot of increasing more doubts." They can't contest it in court. So the fight moves to the streets. @WeTheBrandon @lpbragancabr

A POLITICAL HIT JOB RUN BY PEOPLE WHO CAN BARELY UNDERSTAND A PIZZA ORDER. “The Experts” follows a team of operatives trying to stop a Texas mom from decriminalizing marijuana, and their surveillance mission goes completely off the rails. Two BLIP guys sit outside her house trying to decode conversations about pizza and traffic like they’ve uncovered an international conspiracy. Back at headquarters, the team gets access to her laptops, TVs and even smart fridge, giving them 4K views inside the house. Then someone discovers she reads “The Good Book.” They decide it must be a secret intelligence contact list involving Wagner, Palantir, cartels, China and Iran. 🇬🇧 WTF IS GOING ON?! Britain's Defence Secretary urged households to STOCK UP on emergency supplies, warning that terrorists and state-backed actors could disrupt everyday life. Wes Streeting told families to keep water, canned food, baby supplies, flashlights, phone chargers, and even CASH at home in case payment systems went down. He stressed that there was no specific intelligence pointing to an imminent attack, but admitted Britain had fallen behind other European countries in preparing civilians for serious disruptions. “There's no sugar coating the fact that we do live in a more dangerous and turbulent world.” Writer: Sol t.co/NmBK6BFZa5

🇧🇷 Lula is promising to be a president for all Brazilians after winning reelection. He's promising to work 24 hours a day and give Brazil the best presidential term it's ever seen. And he's not exactly keeping his ambitions small. Lula wants Brazil calling more shots on the world stage, leading on climate policy and refusing to be anyone else's “backyard.” But he couldn't resist taking a dig at Flávio Bolsonaro's camp, calling his victory a defeat for “denialism and lies.” That's quite a victory speech from someone promising to govern for everyone. And with Congress pushing back and Brazil's finances already under pressure, turning all those big promises into reality won't be a walk in the park. Source: Anadolu Agency / Writer: Daniyal

🇺🇸 🇮🇷 Everyone is celebrating the destruction of Iran's nuclear threat, but the weapon Trump is fixated on can't even penetrate the site he wants to destroy. Fmr. U.S. diplomat Alan Eyre: "Forever is a long time. The nuclear threat was never the real story, and the people celebrating a permanent victory may not have a working brain. @AlanEyre1

🇸🇦🇹🇷🇵🇰🇮🇷 Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Pakistan are taking their new defense pact straight to Tehran. Saudi Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman, Pakistan’s army chief Field Marshal Asim Munir and Turkey’s intelligence chief are set to meet Iranian officials today to talk regional coordination. It’s the first high-level meeting between Iran and all 3 countries since Iran-aligned Houthis started hammering Saudi Arabia, with another wave of missiles and drones intercepted on Sunday. The 3 signed the Mecca Pact in August, which treats an attack on one as an attack on all, and earlier this month agreed to rush military forces into Saudi Arabia. So the bloc built to defend Riyadh is now sitting down with the country backing the people attacking it. Source: Reuters / Writer: Daniyal

🇺🇸 🇮🇷 The threat is missiles, yes. But it's also undersea cables, data centers, energy infrastructure, and U.S. officials abroad. Fmr. U.S. diplomat Alan Eyre breaks down how Iran is openly signaling its escalation options, and why the pearl-clutching needs to stop. "If Iran wants to create deterrence, it's going to be doing it by cutting undersea cables, by bombing Saudi Arabia energy infrastructure." Iran isn't even trying to hide its hand. In fact, it's advertising it. @AlanEyre1

🚨🇮🇷 Iran keeps REBUILDING the MOUNTAIN Satellite imagery shows construction STILL MOVING at Eagle 44, the underground airbase near the Strait of Hormuz, despite T LEAST THREE ROUNDS of strikes this year. A new taxiway section is finished, runway obstacles are gone, and another segment is being prepared. The surface damage is still obvious: craters near tunnel entrances, destroyed support buildings, wreckage pushed aside. But the four main tunnel portals appear intact. You can crater the runway. You can smash the buildings. The mountain is still there. Source: TWZ / Writer: Oliver t.co/8aQFOx08Yn

🇮🇱🇮🇷 A leader facing CRIMINAL CHARGES and collapsing poll numbers may trigger a regional war just to STAY IN POWER Fmr. U.S. diplomat Alan Eyre says the IDF reportedly already refused a direct strike order, and it may not matter, because an attack on Iran is coming either way. "It is overwhelmingly probable that the US or Israel will launch a military strike against Iran." The only question left is who pulls the trigger first, and when. @AlanEyre1

🇸🇦🇾🇪 The Houthis say they hit Saudi Arabia’s East-West oil pipeline again. NASA FIRMS data shows a large fire earlier today near the pipeline roughly 90 km west of Riyadh, close to the location identified in the Houthi claim. Saudi authorities have not confirmed that the pipeline itself was damaged. That distinction is vital because this is the route Saudi Arabia relies on to bypass Hormuz. If the Houthis are now repeatedly reaching that corridor too, the Kingdom’s backup route is becoming part of the battlefield. Source: FIRMS, CIG on TG / Writer: Oliver

🇾🇪🇸🇦 One green light from Houthi leadership is all that stands between the current conflict and a ground invasion of Saudi Arabia. Houthi political analyst Hussain Al-Bukhaiti says desalination plants, power stations, and Aramco infrastructure are all on the table if Saudi Arabia escalates. "Just imagine if we do that. Saudi power station. We have not targeted any power station till now." The trump card hasn't been played yet. The question is what triggers it. @HussainBukhaiti
