🇸🇦🇹🇷🇵🇰🇮🇷 Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Pakistan are taking their new defense pact straight to Tehran. Saudi Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman, Pakistan’s army chief Field Marshal Asim Munir and Turkey’s intelligence chief are set to meet Iranian officials today to talk regional coordination. It’s the first high-level meeting between Iran and all 3 countries since Iran-aligned Houthis started hammering Saudi Arabia, with another wave of missiles and drones intercepted on Sunday. The 3 signed the Mecca Pact in August, which treats an attack on one as an attack on all, and earlier this month agreed to rush military forces into Saudi Arabia. So the bloc built to defend Riyadh is now sitting down with the country backing the people attacking it. Source: Reuters / Writer: Daniyal

🇺🇸 🇮🇷 The threat is missiles, yes. But it's also undersea cables, data centers, energy infrastructure, and U.S. officials abroad. Fmr. U.S. diplomat Alan Eyre breaks down how Iran is openly signaling its escalation options, and why the pearl-clutching needs to stop. "If Iran wants to create deterrence, it's going to be doing it by cutting undersea cables, by bombing Saudi Arabia energy infrastructure." Iran isn't even trying to hide its hand. In fact, it's advertising it. @AlanEyre1

🚨🇮🇷 Iran keeps REBUILDING the MOUNTAIN Satellite imagery shows construction STILL MOVING at Eagle 44, the underground airbase near the Strait of Hormuz, despite T LEAST THREE ROUNDS of strikes this year. A new taxiway section is finished, runway obstacles are gone, and another segment is being prepared. The surface damage is still obvious: craters near tunnel entrances, destroyed support buildings, wreckage pushed aside. But the four main tunnel portals appear intact. You can crater the runway. You can smash the buildings. The mountain is still there. Source: TWZ / Writer: Oliver t.co/8aQFOx08Yn

🇮🇱🇮🇷 A leader facing CRIMINAL CHARGES and collapsing poll numbers may trigger a regional war just to STAY IN POWER Fmr. U.S. diplomat Alan Eyre says the IDF reportedly already refused a direct strike order, and it may not matter, because an attack on Iran is coming either way. "It is overwhelmingly probable that the US or Israel will launch a military strike against Iran." The only question left is who pulls the trigger first, and when. @AlanEyre1

🇸🇦🇾🇪 The Houthis say they hit Saudi Arabia’s East-West oil pipeline again. NASA FIRMS data shows a large fire earlier today near the pipeline roughly 90 km west of Riyadh, close to the location identified in the Houthi claim. Saudi authorities have not confirmed that the pipeline itself was damaged. That distinction is vital because this is the route Saudi Arabia relies on to bypass Hormuz. If the Houthis are now repeatedly reaching that corridor too, the Kingdom’s backup route is becoming part of the battlefield. Source: FIRMS, CIG on TG / Writer: Oliver

🇾🇪🇸🇦 One green light from Houthi leadership is all that stands between the current conflict and a ground invasion of Saudi Arabia. Houthi political analyst Hussain Al-Bukhaiti says desalination plants, power stations, and Aramco infrastructure are all on the table if Saudi Arabia escalates. "Just imagine if we do that. Saudi power station. We have not targeted any power station till now." The trump card hasn't been played yet. The question is what triggers it. @HussainBukhaiti

🇬🇧 Britain's Defence Secretary is warning the country to prepare for WAR within the next 1,000 days. Wes Streeting says potential adversaries could be capable of launching an attack by 2030, giving Britain and its allies just over three years to be ready to fight and WIN. His warning comes amid concerns over possible Russian aggression. First, the Pentagon reveals plans to keep U.S. military bases running for 90 days without outside support. Now Britain is talking about a 1,000-day countdown to military readiness. Western governments are taking the possibility of a major war VERY seriously. Source: The Mirror / Writer: Sol

🇺🇸 The Pentagon is preparing for a GLOBAL WAR that could cripple America's power grids, shut down supply chains, and leave U.S. military bases isolated for MONTHS. The new plan, called FORTRESS, would require every major military base in the continental U.S. to survive at least 90 days without outside support. The Pentagon is planning portable nuclear reactors, independent power grids, massive stockpiles of ammunition and fuel, and civilian factories ready to switch to weapons production. They're even preparing for GPS failures, disrupted satellites, and simultaneous conflicts on multiple fronts. Pentagon spokesperson Sean Parnell warned that America's old assumption that two oceans would protect it is now obsolete. The Pentagon wants to be ready for a war that could disrupt essential infrastructure on American soil. Source: FOX / Writer: Sol

At a dinner with young AI researchers, Mohamed El-Erian heard TWO COMPLETELY DIFFERENT visions of the future. First, they told him his daughters were incredibly lucky. AI would give them opportunities previous generations couldn't imagine. Then they admitted they weren't sure they wanted children themselves. “Which is it?” The contradiction left El-Erian more worried than before. Even the people building AI are struggling to reconcile its promise of abundance with the possibility of catastrophe. And nobody has figured out how to make everyone cooperate before the risks become irreversible. @elerianm

Mohamed El-Erian: One AI accident could trigger a stock market crash. Financial analysts are already modeling a scenario where a major AI failure forces governments to halt development. AI stocks plunge. Investment freezes. The shock spreads into the wider economy. But there's another problem. El-Erian says even when AI leaders warn about catastrophic risks, people suspect they're just trying to keep competitors out. The industry needs public trust to manage the risks. And the people warning us about those risks are struggling to earn it. @elerianm

🇺🇸🇮🇷 The next Iran war could send oil to $150 The world survived the first energy shock by burning through inventories while China slashed imports. That cushion is largely gone. El-Erian warns that another disruption to Hormuz and the Red Sea could push oil toward $150, just as borrowing costs remain painfully high. And the scary part? Nobody knows what breaks first. In 2022, Britain's pension system nearly collapsed. Almost nobody saw it coming. This time, an energy crisis could become a financial crisis before anyone realizes where the weak spot is. @elerianm

🇧🇷 Lula WINS BRAZIL. Bolsonaro's camp is STUNNED. I genuinely thought Flávio Bolsonaro was going to win this election. Instead, Lula has secured another term with roughly 51.7% of the vote. I spoke with Brazilian politician Luiz Philippe de Orléans e Bragança and financial analyst David as the results came in. Neither could hide their disbelief. Both raised concerns about Brazil's electronic voting system, although neither presented evidence that the election was rigged. David warned that investors could flee, while Luiz Philippe fears Lula will use another four years to tighten his grip on Brazil's institutions. For me, the disappointment goes beyond the election. I've watched the Bolsonaro family face prosecution, political restrictions and an extraordinary battle over free speech. I wanted to see that chapter end. Instead, Brazil has chosen 4 more years of Lula. @WeTheBrandon @lpbragancabr @jdw100
