🇺🇸 Democrats are trying one of the oldest tricks in the book this year in Alaska: running a man with the same name as the candidate they're trying to defeat...
It's been done since at least 1946, when JFK ran for Congress against two men named Joe Russo.
Dan Sullivan says he's running against Sen. Dan Sullivan (GOP) on his own accord, but what are the odds??
And it's not the only complicating factor in this race...
Alaska is one of two U.S. states with ranked choice voting, where voters rank candidates 1, 2, 3, etc.
So the Trump Admin is arguing between the name confusion and RCV, it's highly probable some voters will be confused (and uh, that's by design).
Dana Bash is acting like there's nothing wacky about this race... but clearly that's not true.
And the GOP cannot afford to lose the Senate over it.

@MarioNawfal JFK's camp pulled the two Joe Russo trick in 1946 and Democrats are still running the same play in Alaska 80 years later. Voters deserve a ballot that isn't built to confuse them.
