🇮🇷 Two explosions have reportedly rocked a radar installation near Tabriz in northwestern Iran, raising fresh questions about possible covert attacks.
The first explosion was reported roughly an hour before the second, with eyewitnesses describing the blasts as resembling airstrikes.
Iranian authorities attributed the earlier explosion to the controlled disposal of unexploded ordnance left over from previous fighting.
But 2 separate explosions near a sensitive military radar installation would be a huge coincidence, even if there's no independent confirmation of an attack.
The incident comes as speculation grows over another possible round of U.S. and Israeli strikes on Iran.
Trump has publicly ruled out attacking Iran before the vote, but reports suggest Washington and Israel have discussed plans for renewed military operations.
Is Mossad up to its old tricks again? 🤔
