3.1 MILLION miles without a safety monitor in the car. And Robotaxi isn't sticking to the easy roads. 862,000 miles after dark, 575,000 in rush-hour traffic, and another 113,000 in rain. The safety figures? Zero injuries in first-contact collisions, zero Robotaxi airbag deployments, and zero pedestrians or cyclists hit. Now Las Vegas, Jacksonville, Phoenix, and San Antonio are getting ready to join the action. Getting into a car with no driver is starting to sound like a damn good idea. @Tesla @Robotaxi / Writer: Annette, Designer: Janné

🇺🇸🇮🇷 The U.S. is pulling Americans out of the Middle East as intelligence warns Iranian plots to KILL U.S. PERSONNEL have reached “advanced stages.” Embassies in 4 countries are reducing staff, while U.S. troops are being withdrawn from regional bases. And Trump isn't exactly calming things down. “We may do another little Epic Fury,” he told a rally in Florida. Just 10 days before the midterms, Washington is evacuating Americans while its president openly talks about bombing Iran again. So much for waiting until after the election. 🚨 BITCOIN just fell off a CLIFF, crashing below $80,000. Investors DUMP RISK across global markets BTC plunged from $84,800 to $79,761. Ethereum sank toward $2,305. And the damage goes deeper than the charts. Around $837 MILLION in leveraged crypto positions were liquidated in 24 hours, while U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs reportedly lost another $635 million. Tech stocks are getting hammered, oil is above $115, and fears of another escalation with Iran are making investors nervous. Bitcoin has clawed back above $80,000, but the selloff is exposing just how quickly leverage can turn a bad day into a bloodbath. Writer: Oliver

🇩🇪 Hitler's infamous Eagle's Nest was NEARLY DESTROYED by a mysterious overnight FIRE The Nazi-era retreat, perched 1,834 meters above Berchtesgaden, Germany, was completely engulfed before firefighters could reach it. Around 200 emergency personnel responded, but the remote mountain location made fighting the flames a nightmare. Now German police suspect ARSON. A 33-year-old motorcyclist has been detained as investigators examine whether he deliberately started the blaze. Nearly 90 years of history, reduced to a charred shell in one night. 🇷🇺🇺🇦 Russia may have found a cheaper way to OVERWHELM Ukraine's air defenses, and Ukrainian drone experts are worried. Its new Filin cruise missile reportedly carries a 100kg warhead, can reach nearly 500 mph, and has a claimed range of 745 miles. The real problem isn't one missile. It's the prospect of Russia manufacturing them by the thousands. Ukraine has spent years adapting to Shahed drones. Now Moscow is working on weapons that fly faster, hit harder, and are much harder for cheap interceptor drones to catch. If Russia gets the production costs low enough, Ukraine could find itself spending far more to shoot these things down than Russia spends launching them. That's a nasty equation in a war of attrition. Source: HUR, @clashreport / Writer: Oliver

🇺🇸 Bill Maher just told Trump's press secretary he SUPPORTS the White House ballroom, and the two ended up joking about Trump's renovation plans. Maher brought up Trump's idea of turning the press briefing room back into a swimming pool. Karoline Leavitt confirmed he'd been considering it, pointing out that the original pool tiles are still underneath the room. Then Bill made his position clear. “I don't give a SHIT about any of this. I like the ballroom. America does NEED a ballroom.” It's the United States of America. We're having dinner IN THE GRASS. It's stupid.” Leavitt couldn't agree more, joking about guests ruining their expensive shoes in the mud. Not exactly the argument over Trump's White House renovations anyone expected from Bill Maher. 🇨🇳🇻🇪 China is about to help turn Venezuela's lights back on, even as Washington tries to push Beijing OUT of the country. A Chinese state-owned contractor apparently plans to restart a 600-megawatt unit at Venezuela's largest fossil-fuel power plant next month. The plant has been largely shut since 2021. And the electricity crisis is getting desperate. Venezuela recorded 531 protests over blackouts in September alone, more than 20 times the number a year earlier. The timing is awkward for Washington. Trump wants to dismantle Chinese influence in Venezuela, but Beijing is still helping repair the infrastructure the country desperately needs. China is competing for influence. Now, by helping to keep the lights on. Source: Bloomberg / Writer: Oliver

Students have spent over a week protesting high university fees and corruption, and some now want Rama, PM since 2013, to quit. Rama promised an answer “within a matter of hours or days,” but warned that anyone behind the violence will face a long, tough response. Hard to talk things over when the pillows are on fire. 🇮🇷🇱🇧🇺🇸 Iran has reportedly told Hezbollah it can sit out the next war with the U.S. Iran’s deputy foreign minister met lawmakers from Hezbollah and its ally Amal in Beirut earlier this month, and they say his message was short: “You are not required to help.” He reportedly thinks a new war is more likely than a deal, and said Iran is ready to hit Israel too if it joins the U.S. The U.S. has already called Lebanon’s president, asking him to keep Lebanon and Hezbollah out of any new fight. Last time, Hezbollah broke its promise to stay out, firing 6 missiles at Israel after Khamenei was killed in late February. Now it’s up to Hezbollah to actually stay out this time.
