🇺🇸 Texas sues Sam Altman and OpenAI to ban ChatGPT for minors statewide... the ninth state in a month to say the company put growth ahead of kids Paxton’s complaint says ChatGPT was sold as safe while coaching children toward self-harm and unhealthy attachment, and it asks a court to require an independent safety check before any new model reaches Texans. Eight states, red and blue, filed the same week; Florida sued in June; dozens of private suits allege the bot helped users plan violence. Arizona’s filing says ChatGPT nudged teens to hide conversations from their parents, and Common Sense Media found OpenAI’s new teen protections don’t work and told the company to pull kids off entirely. Altman’s answer is that rules should cover “the entire AI industry.” Meta said the same before writing an $18 billion check in August. A company that lets its own agents hack other firms and can’t tell a 12-year-old from an adult has forfeited the benefit of the doubt, and Texas just put the burden of proof where it belongs. 🇺🇸 Migrants heading to the US are being KILLED for their organs by criminal networks operating along migration routes. Investigative journalist Mariana van Zeller told Andrew Gold about meeting a man linked to the Gulf Cartel in Colombia, nicknamed “The Deboner,” who claimed he targeted vulnerable migrants, sometimes buying their organs and MURDERING others to harvest them. She initially doubted his story, until he showed her a disturbing video that appeared to show an organ being removed from a body. Her team decided NOT TO AIR IT. Van Zeller stressed she couldn't independently prove the footage showed organ trafficking. And the sickest part? The man targeted migrants because they could disappear on their way to America without anyone noticing. Source: @_pblankNews / Writer: Sol

🇵🇹🇸🇦 Cristiano Ronaldo celebrated what he thought was career goal No. 982, only for some football statistics platforms to CREDIT IT AS AN OWN GOAL. The Al Nassr superstar headed in a cross from João Félix, but the ball deflected off Al Faisaly defender Andrei Girotto before crossing the line. Opta, SofaScore, and Flashscore credited Girotto with the own goal, sparking confusion over Ronaldo's countdown to 1,000. But the Saudi Pro League and the referee's official report kept the goal under Ronaldo's name 💀 Writer: Sol t.co/3mcLHdhkD1

🇮🇷 🇺🇸 Iran is threatening to cut the undersea cables that serve US military bases in the Gulf, covert ones included. Iranian security officials told Reuters the cables would be hit in a way that blocks repairs, and GPS signals in the UAE are being scrambled again for the first time in months. Less than 1% of global internet bandwidth runs through Hormuz, so the world stays online while the region slows to a crawl. The real damage would land on the US bases and Gulf banks wired into those lines. @WeTheBrandon

🇮🇷🇺🇸 Trump says Iran is faking the tanker attacks to spike oil before the midterms... and the independent counts just came back: October is the BLOODIEST month in Hormuz since the war started Twenty-eight confirmed strikes on ships this month, 113 since February by the Washington Institute's tally, 120 by the IMO's, 135 by UKMTO's, which says crews have mostly stopped calling them in. Reuters ran the fleet math: 1 in every 28 supertankers on the planet has taken a hit in this war... With 12 days to the midterms and insurers pricing every one of those strikes into the oil at $117, the real question is whether the White House keeps calling the attacks fake or finally makes stopping them the price of any deal with Tehran. 🇺🇲 BIG BETS ON AI MAKE INVESTORS NERVOUS Wall Street’s AI investment boom is under pressure as investors question whether tech giants can justify the billions they’re pouring into AI. U.S. stocks closed lower Friday, capping a rough week. Investors are now looking to next week’s earnings from Google, Microsoft, and Amazon for clues about how much more they plan to spend on AI, and if it pays off. Wall Street's worried AI’s profits won't catch up with its promises. Source: Reuters / Writer: Marie

🇮🇱🇯🇴🇸🇾 Syria's Druze refused to give up their guns after the beheadings... and a Jordanian scholar of jihadism says only Israel came for them Dan Burmawi, a Jordanian-born analyst who studies jihadist ideology, asks who radicalized the gunmen behind a reported ISIS attack on a Jordanian church today, if Israeli policy explains everything. Dan says this is a religious war against Israel and the West that has been running for 14 centuries: "Israel has been under attack since 1948. Not because of what Israel does, but because of who Israel is." He says the new Syrian government distributes Ibn Taymiyyah, whose rulings condemn the Druze even if they convert, which is why the Druze kept their weapons after the massacre and why Israel was the only country that stepped in. He also says Israel's survival now rests on Jordan and Egypt staying stable, so the real existential threat is either government cracking, which would leave the region's minorities with nobody between them and the men who wrote the fatwas. @DanBurmawy @WeTheBrandon

🇺🇸🇲🇽 Americans are reportedly traveling to Mexico to buy organs on the BLACK MARKET, and some don't even want to know where those organs came from. Investigative journalist Mariana van Zeller told Andrew Gold that she interviewed a doctor working for a cartel who claimed most of his organ trafficking clients were Americans. She also met an American who admitted buying a pancreas illegally. When she asked whether someone might have been MURDERED to obtain it, his response was chilling: “If this was your child, what would you do?” He told her he preferred NOT TO KNOW whose pancreas it was. 🇮🇱🇮🇷🇺🇸 A possible Trump-Netanyahu deal holds the Iran strike until after Israel votes on Tuesday... and a war after the US midterms lands right in the middle of Netanyahu's coalition talks Israel's election looks headed for a deadlock between the two blocs, and the fastest way to move opposition parties into Netanyahu's camp is a country back at war. Shaiel Ben-Ephraim, former IDF intelligence officer, is hearing that Trump and Netanyahu struck a deal, with the plans on ice for days, not cancelled: "There's going to be a massive escalation in Iran very soon, but it's not going to be before the elections." Striking before the vote would look like an election stunt and could backfire, and Shaiel flatly rejects the idea that the election gets suspended at all. He says the IDF has no plan beyond hitting and blockading until something snaps, and that Israel's own intelligence reads the regime as sturdier than before the war. @academic_la @WeTheBrandon

🇺🇸 🇮🇷 Iraq's prime minister has reportedly been told a US strike on Iran is coming in days. A senior US diplomat says it could happen this weekend, Trump laughed it off, and Britain's prime minister reportedly called him with concerns while leaders around him scramble to change his mind. Washington and Baghdad both warned Iraq's Iran backed militias to stay out, which may be wishful thinking: "And I think that's almost a guarantee that that's going to happen." Once they move, Iraq stops being a bystander. @WeTheBrandon

🇺🇸 AOC’s “tax the rich” campaign spent $47,000 on 45 upscale hotel stays since April... including $5,044 at a Memphis boutique with an animal themed rooftop bar To absolutely nobody’s surprise, the revolution travels four star. Every single stay was at a hotel ranked luxury, upscale or upper upscale, according to FEC filings, with roughly another $5,000 spent on limos and chauffeurs. A GOP candidate who fled Cuba with his parents had a name for it: “She’s a champagne communist.” To be fair, the bills covered her whole team, but $24 million of her haul came from donors giving under $200, so plenty of $20 checks are now paying for rooftop bars... 🇺🇸🇮🇷 Tucker wants to know how much the Iran war is REALLY costing Americans. The researcher and analyst Stephen Semler estimates the first 60 days alone cost the US a staggering $72 BILLION, including military operations, replacing expended munitions, damaged bases, and aid to Israel. And that's before the broader economic damage. Semler cites a Moody's analysis suggesting the average American household paid roughly $2,000 MORE because of war-driven inflation and higher fuel prices. He also accuses the Pentagon of withholding a complete accounting, claiming its publicly released figures leave out major expenses. Source: TCNetwork / Writer: Sol

🇮🇹 Football ultras TOOK OVER the streets of a northern Italian town after social media threats warned of Milan-style riots, and the people supposedly planning the chaos NEVER SHOWED UP. Following recent unrest in Milan, anonymous messages called for trouble in Lecco, near the famous city. 🇮🇷🇺🇸 14 Russian military cargo planes reportedly landed in Tehran in the last 24 hours as Brent SPIKED to $117... and the window for a US strike before the midterms may close this weekend Washington has now pulled embassy families from seven countries, another anti ship launcher on Iran's coast reportedly went up tonight without CENTCOM saying a word, and the account tracking those hits says they're isolated strikes on imminent threats, not the opening of a new operation. Larry Johnson, former CIA, puts a clock on it: "I think he'll do it before Sunday. If he doesn't do it Sunday, then I don't think it will happen before the midterms." Larry says the Russian flights are supposedly bringing air defense in and flying diplomats out. He’s told Saudi royals, including MBS’s immediate relatives, are leaving on charters now priced 50% higher. Iran’s 31 regional commanders are cleared to fire at will, and they answered the last decapitation attempt within 90 minutes, which he expects to be quicker this time. If the weekend passes quiet, the next real date is November 4... and Oman is already shutting a US base. @NewSonof

🇺🇸🇮🇱 The US has poured a staggering $352 BILLION into Israel since its founding, and Tucker wants to know where all that taxpayer money is going. Researcher Stephen Semler explains that Israel receives $3.3 BILLION annually through a program that essentially lets it buy weapons using American taxpayer dollars. Tucker's reaction? “Why would we just send the money to Lockheed then?” And Semler challenges the argument that military aid creates American jobs. He points out that between 1985 and 2021, US arms industry employment fell from 3.1 MILLION to 1.1 MILLION, even as annual military spending increased by nearly $300 BILLION in inflation-adjusted terms. More military spending, TWO MILLION fewer defense industry jobs. Semler argues that weapons manufacturers are ultimately focused on PROFITS, while American taxpayers keep footing the bill. 🚨🇺🇸🇮🇷 America’s top general can legally BYPASS Hegseth and tell Trump to call off the Iran strike... Colin Powell did it twice and won both times, and nobody expects Dan Caine to try Larry says Goldwater Nichols lets the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs walk past the Pentagon straight into the Oval Office, and Powell did it to Cheney during the 1992 LA riots, with the caveat that a president can still refuse the meeting. Col. Larry Wilkerson, Powell's former chief of staff, says the law is sitting there unused: "That's what Caine should do. If he really feels that this is a terrible decision and it should stop." He adds the chairman should bring Trump a way to wind it down without losing face, and he doubts the current one has the knowledge or the nerve. On the other side, Iran has handed 31 district commanders their own missiles and standing orders to fire without waiting for Tehran, with backups in separate locations, so even a strike that kills half of them leaves enough to wreck Haifa and the Tel Aviv complex. The cleanest off ramp runs through one general's office, and the door is closed.

🇺🇸 🇮🇷 Tucker explores why the Iran war is America’s LEAST POPULAR EVER Foreign policy analyst Stephen Semler: “It’s the most unpopular war since polling began… The Economist and YouGov polled Americans…13% points more people opposed the war than supported it. 🚨🇺🇸🇮🇷 US intelligence warns Iran has "substantially increased" plots to kill American officials abroad and some are in "advanced stages"... embassies in five countries are now being emptied The Director of National Intelligence reportedly put it in a one-page memo to Rubio and the CIA chief, saying the warning needs to reach more personnel than are currently cleared to see it. State followed by cutting staff in the UAE, Lebanon, Qatar and Jordan after ordering families out of Saudi Arabia Wednesday. The memo names no targets or countries. Trump's line at a recent Florida rally was "we may do another little Operation Epic Fury." Tehran's reply is apparently already in motion, aimed at the diplomats, and the one time this administration pulled embassy staff this fast was the week before February 28... 🇹🇼 TAIWAN IS GETTING HAMMERED by Typhoon Champi, with massive waves reaching up to 26 FEET along the island's eastern coast. At least one person has died, 94 were reported injured in an early count, and more than 77,000 households lost power, with nearly 20,000 still in the dark as of 2 PM. The storm has also forced nearly 1,000 flight cancellations and the evacuation of 1,286 people, while schools, offices, and transport services face major disruptions. Champi reached SUPER TYPHOON strength before weakening as it approached Taiwan, but the footage of enormous waves smashing into coastal infrastructure is absolutely terrifying. 🚨🇺🇸 $386 million against $158 million in the Texas Senate race, and the Democrat being outspent still leads by 6... the Republican money isn't buying what it used to In Florida, Byron Donalds spent $100 million and watched his favorability fall from 46 to 37, while David Jolly has led or tied in six of the last eight polls for governor, by Rick's count. Rick Wilson, Lincoln Project co founder who spent his career making attack ads, says the weapon has gone dull: "I don't know that money is doing what it used to do." His firm's data has the hard core MAGA base at 15 to 18% of Republicans, a growing share of the rest now call themselves non MAGA Republicans, and many plan to stay home.
