🇮🇷 🇺🇸 Iran is threatening to cut the undersea cables that serve US military bases in the Gulf, covert ones included.
Iranian security officials told Reuters the cables would be hit in a way that blocks repairs, and GPS signals in the UAE are being scrambled again for the first time in months.
Less than 1% of global internet bandwidth runs through Hormuz, so the world stays online while the region slows to a crawl.
The real damage would land on the US bases and Gulf banks wired into those lines.
