🇺🇸🇮🇷🇮🇶 The U.S. has reportedly warned Iraq it could strike Iran within days.
Washington informed Iraqi Prime Minister Ali Faleh al-Zaidi, who then warned armed groups to stay out of any fighting or face legal action.
But powerful Iran-backed groups like Kata'ib Hezbollah and Nujaba are still refusing to give up their weapons, despite earlier agreements.
And Baghdad isn't taking chances. It's closed a border crossing with Iran over security concerns and reportedly ordered the Houthi office in Iraq shut down, with its members deported.
The government wants to keep Iraq out of another war, but getting these armed groups to cooperate is another story.

@MarioNawfal The Iraqi Shiite government and its militias are lying; they are playing a game of role-playing and obfuscation until Trump's term ends and Netanyahu's party loses the elections.
