🇾🇪🇸🇦🇮🇳 Houthi officials allege Saudi forces ATTACKED an Indian ship near Zuqar Island in the Red Sea... The allegation remains independently unverified. The Houthi spox. claimed 14 Indian nationals were on board, saying their forces are attempting a rescue. Tensions persist near the strategic Bab al-Mandab Strait following recent Houthi control of Zuqar Island. This comes after an Indian national was killed and two others injured in the attack on Saudi's Dammam airport. Another Indian national was injured at Shaybah oil field. 🇺🇸 Sec. Hegseth wanted an historic Eisenhower globe moved into his Pentagon office... His staff reportedly DROPPED it and broke it. It's one of two Pentagon globes linked to Dwight D. Eisenhower, and they didn't wait for the military-history specialists who normally handle such artifacts. They lost control of the 30-inch globe, which crashed onto its base, detached from its mounting and suffered a gash several inches wide. The Army confirmed the artifact was damaged during an attempted move on February 3. The globe ultimately stayed where it was. Just such an unnecessary mistake... 🙄 Source: Washington Post / Writer: Samuel

🇬🇧 Remember a few weeks ago when some expert said we'd have our first major AI incident within 6 months? I think that it’s safe to say he was right on track! Internet outages have been hitting Europe for the last few days, and now 32 UK government services are offline and 4 are partly offline. Now we’re having to take security measures to protect ourselves from something that WE CREATED! This is NOT GOOD AT ALL! Source: @SkyNews / Writer: Jamie t.co/90CwMrrIke

🚨🇸🇦 Saudi Aramco has reportedly ordered staff to EVACUATE its Dhahran headquarters and WORK REMOTELY today. It marks the first evacuation order at the oil giant’s headquarters since the Iran war began. A Houthi strike caused extensive damage to the building earlier this month, with fires spreading across several floors. The complex houses a key operations center overseeing oil rigs, refineries, export terminals, and thousands of miles of pipelines. Separately, 2 people were killed yesterday after Saudi air defenses intercepted a drone that was attempting to hit a facility at Aramco's Shaybah oilfield. The world’s LARGEST oil producer has a serious crisis on their hands... Source: Reuters / Writers: Marie, Michael

🚨🇾🇪🇸🇦 The Houthis say they've launched a new wave of strikes DEEP inside Saudi territory... Houthis claim ballistic missiles and drones struck Saudi's Defense Ministry HQ in Riyadh, King Fahd Int'l Airport in Dammam, an Aramco facility in Yanbu, and Abha Int'l Airport all over the past 48 hours. They claim the Yanbu strike caused a fire and the Dammam attack disrupted air traffic. Those claims still require independent confirmation. The Houthis also warned that any Saudi attack on Yemeni tribes would bring “catastrophic and unforeseen” consequences. Their message to Riyadh: “a blockade for a blockade” and “an escalation for an escalation.” Source: army21ye / Writer: Samuel

🇷🇺🇪🇺 Russian presidential envoy Dmitriev says Europe uses Moscow as a “BOOGEYMAN.” “Europe really needs help…we obviously see migration, energy rejection… The key is we see Europe really using Russia as this boogeyman… to scare away from much more fundamental problems of Europe.” Dmitriev urged EU companies to fight for access to the Russian market, accusing politicians of believing media narratives instead of looking for practical solutions. If you polled European citizens, do you think Russia would be at the top of their list of concerns? Writer: Marie t.co/GxPAgY8gjg

🇨🇴🇪🇨 Call me crazy… but I think this might be a sign 😅 Remember that priest in Ecuador who was recently KILLED by a falling cross on the altar? Well, take a look at this… a priest inside a church in Colombia was trying to adjust a large crucifix before it decided to try and flatten him, too! The Lord giveth, and the Lord nearly taketh away. 🚨🇬🇧 BREAKING: Fmr. PM Keir Starmer will be summoned to give evidence to the national grooming gangs inquiry. Starmer, who announced the inquiry last year, has been listed as a "core participant." The inquiry will examine why previous investigations failed to produce meaningful change and why lessons were not learned. Institutions will be required to explain what steps they took to protect children, if any... Hearings begin in London in December, led by Baroness Anne Longfield. Starmer is expected to give evidence during the phase examining institutional responses. Source: GB News / Writer: Michael

🇮🇷🇺🇸 Seeing this just confirms the Trump admin is NOT being entirely truthful when it comes to Iranian military capabilities... In fact, Iran might be a much more formidable foe than anyone expected or prepared for. Dig in… it’s gonna be a long excursion! Writer: Jamie t.co/UU3BGug1gG

🇫🇷 Take a look at this person… this is the guy who violently attacked the Micromania store manager a few days ago in Nice, France. Turns out he’s not so ‘Nice’ after all, and police want to have a word. If you know him… you should turn him in ASAP! Writer: Jamie t.co/ds8Hs9htdy

🇫🇷 France doesn’t have a Second Amendment. Right now, Parisians wish it did. After two weekends of looting that left shop windows shattered across the capital, Paris gun stores are reporting orders up TENFOLD. Rubber bullet pistols, tear gas launchers, telescopic batons, ALL flying off the shelves. One store owner said he’s only seen two rushes like this in his career: after the Nov 2015 terrorist attacks, and after Oct 7. A 54-year-old shopkeeper named Assia became the face of it all, standing in her doorway with an iron bar in hand, holding off looters alone amidst the chaos: “There are going to be deaths,” she warned on camera. “And we are going to defend ourselves. Because enough is enough.” Some stores are already running out of stock. The association president compared it to air conditioner sales during a heat wave. “If the police don’t restore order, we are going to have a problem.” Source: Le Parisien / Writer: Michael

🚨🇨🇳 China's stock market is getting HAMMERED... The market heatmap is almost entirely red, with heavy losses across technology, manufacturing, healthcare, energy, finance and commodities. Several individual stocks are down more than 5%, with some plunging roughly 8-11%. This isn't a selloff isolated to one industry, the weakness shown here is remarkably broad. When almost the entire market turns red at once, investors aren't simply rotating out of one sector. They're selling risk across the board. Writer: Samuel t.co/zFO5I0yqbL

🇬🇷 Greece's students have had ENOUGH, and around 10,000 of them took to the streets of Athens yesterday to make sure the government heard about it. Students and teachers marched through the capital, with protests also erupting in Thessaloniki, Patras and other cities, chanting “From Greece to France, we want public, free education.” Their demands? More money for schools, smaller classes and student housing that doesn't eat up their entire budget. Greece spends just 3.3% of its GDP on education, compared with the EU average of 4.7%. Students are getting pretty tired of being told education is FREE when they can barely afford everything that comes with it. Sources: Reuters, The National Desk / Writer: Julie t.co/aDzuDbOsKZ

🚨🇩🇪 Holy sh*t... Germany is going way too far in FORCING diversity down peoples' throats... Here's how insane it is: state governments in Germany want every FIFTH social media post to have something to do with “diversity.” I guess you have to do SOMETHING to make migrants feel more welcome so they don’t start rioting and destroying your country... But this is fking comical. Can Europe just be normal? 🤣 Source: @apollo_news_de, Politico / Writers: Jamie, Michael

🚨🇺🇸🇮🇷 Peter Thiel, one of Trump’s most influential billionaire backers, says the Iran war was a MISTAKE “I think we should not have done it. There were a lot of mistakes that were made.” Thiel made the comments last week during a private lecture in Nashville. He also raised the question no one in the GOP wants to answer <2 weeks before the midterms: “Maybe we don’t have the hard power. Maybe we’re going to lose the soft power war.” Thiel co-founded PayPal and Palantir, donated $1.25 million to Trump’s 2016 campaign, was a key WH advisor during Term I, and poured millions into JD Vance’s Senate primary that put him on the path to VP. His data company Palantir is actively assisting Trump’s deportation operations today. He still supports Trump. But his assessment of the Iran war is damning. When a donor this close starts saying “we should not have done it,” you can bet the White House is listening. Source: Daily Mail, Politico / Writer: Michael

🇺🇸 As the Midterms approach, I'm wondering if the "blue wave" is going to materialize in the way so many think... Harry Enten on CNN makes a great point here: "The GOP is far more likely to outperform the final Senate polling averages by 4.1 pts in states Trump won. And we know in this election cycle, the Democrats need to win in a lot of Trump states in order to win control of the Senate... And not just Trump states, but states Trump won by double digits in 2024." Writer: Michael t.co/44P8wKXAhC

🚨🇺🇸 Nasdaq 100 futures are getting HIT hard this AM. The Nasdaq 100 E-mini contract has fallen roughly 530 points, or 1.8%, trading around 29,475 after a sharp retreat from its recent highs. The selloff follows several volatile sessions and puts the tech-heavy index futures back below the 30,000 level. Another rough start is shaping up for Wall Street's biggest technology names.
