Any future elevation in rank would simply reflect the number of Knesset seats his party is expected to win, not some special reward. As matters stand he is projected to lead the second-largest right-wing party, which is the sole reason for Netanyahu’s pledge. Reward plays no part in the calculation whatsoever.
