🇺🇦🇺🇸 I think Zelensky is 💯 right about this... "Trump decided to pin this problem not on Putin, but on me, explaining to his people that diesel prices in America are going up because of us. That is completely untrue." So Putin invades Ukraine, U.S. and Israel start the war in Iran, and somehow Zelensky ends up responsible for diesel prices in America? 🤣🤣🤣 Writers: Samuel, Michael t.co/QeHMrgQ7ry

🇷🇺🇺🇦 Zelensky: "I don't think Putin will risk nuclear weapons. I don't think they'll take the risk of using nuclear weapons. I'm sure they won't have any allies left, including countries like America and China. That's far too dangerous, even for nuclear powers." Russia supposedly has 5,500 nuclear warheads... aren't they bound to use one of them at some point? Writers: Mhedi, Michael t.co/X5mxFJiakK

🇺🇸🇮🇷 The U.S is reportedly withdrawing military personnel from bases in Jordan, Qatar and Kuwait as fears of another confrontation with Iran grow. Washington is also said to be reducing diplomatic staffing across the Middle East and evacuating family members of American personnel. Moving personnel away from vulnerable installations would reduce potential casualties while giving American commanders greater flexibility in a crisis. The simultaneous reduction of military and diplomatic personnel suggests Washington is preparing for the possibility of a wider regional escalation. Source: NBC News / Writer: Mhedi

🇺🇸🇷🇺 Zelensky on his belief that Trump's relationship with Putin will ultimately change nothing: "I think Trump had a special relationship with Putin, and still does. Maybe it really is possible that Trump being on friendly terms with Putin could have prevented a full-scale invasion. But one thing you have to know for sure: neither I nor Trump are eternal in these presidential seats. Either way, Trump's presidency would have ended, and Putin still wouldn't have changed his main goal, the occupation of Ukraine. So I think, honestly, it doesn't matter who the president is as long as Putin is there." Writer: Mhedi t.co/WC2bmOXe98

🚨🇮🇱🇺🇸🇮🇷 Netanyahu: "There is no green light." "A year ago, Iran was about to destroy us with atomic bombs. When I learned about this, I initiated an operation to go it alone. Alone. Good people here told me, "Fine, but we need to get a green light from the United States." I said, 'No, no. There is no green light. We have no choice. Our existence is not a subject for negotiation.'" Writer: Michael t.co/jqr5k89zts

🇨🇳 China’s stock market just slid into a BEAR MARKET, with $2.4 trillion wiped out since May, and Beijing’s rescue squad can’t stop the bleeding. The CSI 300, China’s main index, dropped as much as 2.2% today, putting it 20% below its June high. Hong Kong’s tech index got hit even harder, plunging as much as 5.3%, its biggest drop since July, with Alibaba among the casualties. Chinese shoppers still aren’t spending much, and investors are starting to wonder whether all that AI money will ever pay off. Beijing’s so-called “national team” of state-backed funds has been stepping in to prop up stocks, with trading in its favored ETFs hitting $7.8 billion today. Analysts say that won’t be enough without a serious stimulus package. Beijing keeps buying the dip. The dip keeps getting bigger. Source: Bloomberg / Writer: Julie

🇷🇺🇺🇦 Zelensky on Russia's plan to capture Kyiv at the start of the war: "When our guys hit their tanks, we found parade uniforms. It's true. They found parade uniforms in Russian military vehicles. They were literally marching to a parade. They wanted to capture Kyiv in 3 days and symbolically hold some kind of spectacle of pseudo-victory on Independence Square." Writer: Mhedi t.co/vRE51vtueP

An AI bot that actually enjoys haggling over your company's bills. Now we're talking. Hagglebot can hunt down overpriced contracts, unused subscriptions and unnecessary expenses, then help negotiate better deals with suppliers. It's already shown what it can do by identifying over $100,000 in savings for SpaceXAI in its first week. The bigger goal? Cut business costs by 5% or more. Applied across the global economy, that could mean up to $6 TRILLION in annual savings. Imagine putting all that wasted money back to work instead. @Grok @Bot @spacexai / Writer: Annette, Designer: Janné

🇷🇺🇺🇦 Zelensky: Russia's survival depends on controlling Ukraine. "What's the problem for Russia? If Ukraine becomes part of Europe, then Russia will collapse. It will fall apart. There are many different peoples, different religions, entirely different nations." Writer: Mhedi t.co/Mkqy7S4z23

🇺🇦🇷🇺 A Russian military plant that repairs air defense systems may have just been hit, as 630 drones flew toward Moscow in ONE night. The target appears to be the 75th Arsenal in Serpukhov, about 100 km south of Moscow, which fixes systems like the Buk and S-300V. Eyewitness videos reportedly show an explosion and a fire there, though the hit hasn't been independently confirmed. Moscow's mayor Sergey Sobyanin says most of the drones were destroyed far from the city, and 163 were shot down near Moscow. 2 people were injured, he said. Drone attacks were also reported in the Lipetsk, Tula and Voronezh regions. If confirmed, Kyiv just hit the repair shop for the very systems meant to stop its drones. 🇷🇺🇺🇦 Zelensky argues that Ukraine is fighting to avoid total ruin, falling apart like Chechnya: "Putin started the war in Chechnya. He destroyed it completely. The very same military commanders who fought in Chechnya, who destroyed Chechnya completely, are involved in what's happening in eastern Ukraine. There was nothing left. No buildings, nothing. A huge number of people were killed in Chechnya." Writer: Mhedi t.co/kzhPCfR1At

🇩🇪🇪🇺 Germany’s AfD just demanded a total overhaul of the European Union Party leader Alice Weidel is demanding that power be stripped from the EU and returned to national governments immediately. She also claims the EU is losing all global power against the U.S., Russia, and China. The entire system is facing a massive shakeup. Source: DWcom / Writer: Bri

🇺🇸 Elon: Being a billionaire is overrated! "There's a limit to what any single human can consume. You hit that saturation point pretty fast. Going from a billion dollars in net worth to $10 billion doesn't make you ten times happier or mean you have ten times more stuff. It actually means you've got a resource allocation problem." 🇺🇦🇺🇸 Zelensky says Biden was the FIRST to offer him a way out of Kyiv when Russia invaded. He says Washington offered to evacuate him and his family with the capital surrounded, and many European leaders later made the same offer. His answer to Biden: “I need ammunition, not a ride.” Zelensky says Russia was spreading claims that he’d fled, hoping Ukrainians would run if they believed their leader had abandoned them. Leaving, he says, would have been a betrayal of his “human decency and the constitution of Ukraine.” Moscow wanted him gone in days, and here he is more than 4 and a half years later. 🇺🇸🇲🇽 An Arizona man accused of executing a Mexican dentist over a dispute involving a loose tooth has been killed in a shootout with Mexican police. Ernesto Rascón, 30, allegedly shot and killed oral surgeon Amed de Jesús Preciado Hernández, 42, outside a dental clinic in Nogales, Mexico, on October 15. The confrontation followed a disagreement over previous dental treatment, with Rascón allegedly becoming furious after being turned away without an appointment. Two days later, Mexican authorities tracked him to Agua Prieta, where a gunfight erupted as officers attempted to arrest him. Rascón was killed in the exchange, while two Mexican police officers were injured. May he rest in a puddle of excrement. Writer: Mhedi t.co/iTea0Z7jCc

🇺🇦🇺🇸 Zelensky says he begged Biden to hit Russia with sanctions BEFORE the invasion, and Biden told him to wait. He says Kyiv asked Washington for weapons urgently, “everything you can give,” but nobody would give anything. Biden’s position was sanctions only if Russia actually invaded, not before. “I’m not God to judge a president, but I believe that was a mistake.” Sanctions after the tanks roll in are a lot like buying insurance after the fire. 🇺🇸 Elon on the effect AI job displacement will have on humanity: "I think people will find ways to be happy, in the same way that people who retire seem to be fairly happy even though they're not working. But the reality is that there won't be anything humans can do that AI and robots can't do better. One analogy might be gardening. You don't have to grow your own fruits and vegetables. You can just buy them from the store. But sometimes people like to grow their own fruits and vegetables and make dinner for friends. It's kind of a nice touch." Writer: Mhedi t.co/NfC6OqBp4C

🇩🇪🇮🇷 Germany just shut down ANOTHER Iranian bank. Financial regulator BaFin says the Hamburg branch of Bank Saderat Iran is being liquidated in the wake of sanctions and is no longer allowed to do any banking business. The branch actually lost its license last year for breaking the rules and never fixing the problems the regulator flagged. Last month, a Hamburg court appointed a liquidator. It had just 13 employees and €62.4 million in assets. In September, BaFin also declared the German branch of Bank Sepah, another Iranian state-owned lender, insolvent. Not a great time to be an Iranian bank with a German address. Source: Reuters / Writer: Julie

🇮🇷🇺🇸 Iran is warning that America's data centers and AI facilities in the Gulf could be NEXT on its target list. Gen. Mohsen Rezaei, secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, says that if the U.S. and Israel attack again, "cables, data centers and artificial intelligence facilities" could be targeted. He says Iran held back some of its capabilities in the last round of fighting and is "prepared for the next stage." The IRGC has also threatened the undersea internet cables running through the Strait of Hormuz. Gulf neighbors aren't off the hook either. Rezaei warned that countries helping squeeze Iran's economy shouldn't expect their energy infrastructure to remain untouched. First it was oil fields. Next time it could be the cloud. 🇺🇸 Elon on what stops Trump from cutting government waste: "I came to the conclusion that there was no way we were going to solve the deficit from within the government. Maybe if the president made that his primary goal, we could do that. But the problem is, if you try to solve the deficit and stop wasteful spending, you make a lot of enemies. And President Trump likes to be liked. He doesn't like people being upset about some funding being stopped." Writer: Mhedi t.co/y4RG2NL37R

🇰🇵🇰🇷 North Korea has threatened to deploy new military countermeasures along its border with South Korea, raising tensions after a landmine explosion injured three South Korean soldiers. Kim Yo Jong, the powerful sister of Kim Jong Un, announced that new military units had moved into firing positions and that additional countermeasures were being placed on alert. Pyongyang also plans to reactivate border loudspeakers within days, potentially escalating the propaganda exchanges between the two countries. However, South Korea's military says it has detected no evidence of new weapons being deployed, despite closely monitoring the border. The confrontation follows a September landmine explosion inside the Demilitarized Zone, which Seoul blames on North Korean forces. South Korea is now preparing to raise the incident with the UN Security Council, accusing the North of violating the 1953 armistice agreement. Source: France 24 / Writer: Mhedi

🇺🇸🇮🇷🇵🇰 Mediators are scrambling to stop round 2 of the Iran war before it starts, and Tehran isn’t making it easy. Pakistan’s army chief flew to Tehran earlier this week, followed by a team of Qatari diplomats, trying to break a deadlock that’s dragged on for months. The offers on the table include unfreezing some Iranian money held overseas, WITH interest, if Iran lets nuclear inspectors back in. Another idea is shipping Iran’s enriched uranium to Russia. Iranian diplomats reportedly showed some interest in the inspectors, until the hardliners shut it down. FM Araghchi says Iran will only talk if the U.S. takes its military options off the table, and he warns any escalation will put the whole region and the global economy at risk. Meanwhile, the U.S. has about 20 warships in the region, with a 3rd carrier group on the way. The diplomats are racing the calendar, and November 3 is coming fast. Source: WSJ / Writer: Julie

🇺🇸 Wall Street goes to bed at 4 p.m. The rest of the world keeps trading its stocks ALL NIGHT. More than half of all trading in tokenized U.S. stocks now happens while the market is closed, the IMF found. On Robinhood Chain, it's two-thirds. These are crypto tokens that track shares like Tesla, Nvidia and the S&P 500, sold mostly to investors outside the U.S. who don't feel like waiting for New York to wake up. And it's mostly the little guys. About 80% of trades are for less than a single share. The interesting part? Those overnight moves actually call the open. Within 5 minutes of the bell, the real stocks absorb more than 87% of the move their tokens made overnight. It's still a small, jumpy market, worth about $3.3 billion, with tokens swinging roughly 1.5x as hard as the real shares. Wall Street still rings the bell. It just isn't the first to hear the news anymore. Sources: IMF, Cointelegraph, Blockworks Data / Writer: Julie

🇺🇸 Elon thinks AI could be an existential threat, and he’s not about to watch it happen from the sidelines. He says there’s “at least some percentage chance” AI ends up being an existential threat, and nothing he can do to stop it from coming. So he boiled it down to 2 choices: participant or spectator. He picked participant, hoping he can steer it “in a good direction.” If AI is coming either way, better to have a hand on the wheel. Writer: Julie t.co/Fj4J0jPoca
