🇩🇪🇮🇷 Germany just shut down ANOTHER Iranian bank.
Financial regulator BaFin says the Hamburg branch of Bank Saderat Iran is being liquidated in the wake of sanctions and is no longer allowed to do any banking business.
The branch actually lost its license last year for breaking the rules and never fixing the problems the regulator flagged. Last month, a Hamburg court appointed a liquidator.
It had just 13 employees and €62.4 million in assets.
In September, BaFin also declared the German branch of Bank Sepah, another Iranian state-owned lender, insolvent.
Not a great time to be an Iranian bank with a German address.

@MarioNawfal About time Europe started cutting off the money pipelines. Squeeze the regime's wallet and watch how fast the swagger disappears.
