🇷🇺🇺🇦 Russia has STOCKED UP thousands of drones and missiles for a hard winter push on Ukraine. Ukrainian intelligence says Moscow holds around 6,200 attack drones and is building thousands more monthly, alongside hundreds of ballistic and cruise missiles. The goal is to keep pounding Ukraine’s energy and infrastructure targets through the cold months. That kind of firepower makes sustained strikes a serious threat heading into winter. 🇺🇸 The scrutiny surrounding Sam Altman back in 2023 was at an all-time high after a bombshell New York Magazine report and a scandalous lawsuit filed by his sister. Now it’s been alleged that Altman actually tried to pressure the magazine’s editor-in-chief to remove any mention of his sister from the article or squash it. I’m not going to get into what his sister has claimed… you can look that up yourself. I will remind you that this is one of the key players in the future of life as we know it. 🇫🇷 Imagine the world’s most visited museum stayed CLOSED the entire day because rioters BLOCKED IT A few dozen of them stood at the pyramid and other doors from early morning, so staff never let the public in. When a handful of people can shut down one of Europe's biggest tourist draws just by standing there, it shows how thin the line is between a demonstration and a full stop for everyone else. 🇺🇸 🇮🇷 Daily news recap: Iran looks to be running out the clock on a deal, timing it to do maximum damage to Trump right before the midterms. All the talk of a breakthrough is noise, and the real standoff over the strait hasn’t moved an inch: “The Iranians are not going to let go of the Strait of Hormuz, and the Americans need that reopen.” Until one side gives on Hormuz, every headline about a deal is just theater. @WeTheBrandon

🇮🇷🇾🇪🇸🇦 Iran's foreign minister insists Tehran has nothing to do with the Houthi blockade of Saudi ships at Bab al-Mandeb According to Tehran, there's nothing to see here. Abbas Araghchi says the Houthi blockade is Yemen's own payback for more than a decade of Saudi pressure: "I ask you: what does this have to do with us, as Iran?" Quite a bit, as it turns out. Days before the Houthis declared the blockade in July, Reuters reported that Iran's leadership told them to shut the strait if America hit Iran's power plants. The WSJ reported Thursday that Revolutionary Guard officers are inside Yemen providing targeting, training and the fiber-optic FPV drones that are the IRGC’s signature, and that the war restarted when Iran flew Guard officers and missile parts into Sanaa on funeral flights in July. Tehran wants the world to see two separate fights... but with Hormuz mined and the Red Sea route under threat, Iran and its allies now have a hand on both of the world's main oil exits. 🇮🇱 Elon gives one of the most logical and balanced assessments of why Israel defends itself the way it does: “Unless you’re filtering for jihadis, you’re going to get jihadis, and they’re going to do jihad and kill people. Now, in Israel, they understand this quite well.” Many say a good offense is the best defense. Writer: Jamie t.co/kGt1Dx1oGu

🇮🇹 Italy's Meloni is CRACKING DOWN after violent riots left nearly 200 police officers injured and businesses trashed. Her government just approved sweeping new measures: Up to FIVE YEARS in prison and €20,000 in fines for participating in violent group riots. Parents could be forced to PAY for damage caused by their underage children. And Meloni says HALF of the 330 people arrested were of FOREIGN origin. The youngest suspect identified in Milan? Just 11 YEARS OLD. “There is nothing revolutionary about devastating and stealing.” Her message to rioters: destroy someone's livelihood, and expect the state to come after you. 🚨DAILY NEWS RECAP: Iran is dragging out talks on purpose to bleed Trump before the midterms... while a third carrier heads in and the Mecca Accord's 10-year lockup hits Turkey's parliament Pakistan’s army chief flew into Tehran with a plan Washington had reportedly already approved. Oil fell $6 on a Channel 12 report of a deal with secret IAEA inspections, and it was back to $110 within the hour. Tehran’s answer came from a senior Iranian official, who reportedly told the Pakistani delegation: “Not a single particle of enriched material will leave Iran.” Reuters says Iranian officials are preparing for renewed strikes and see no quick deal. The Roosevelt is reportedly joining the two carriers already there, with a Marine expeditionary unit behind it. Turkey is debating a Saudi defense pact that reportedly bars exit for a decade while the Houthis keep hitting the kingdom. 🇺🇸🇮🇱🇮🇷 Hegseth now admits he met Netanyahu in Israel and says what they talked about is none of our business... a week before Israel votes A senior US military official and an Israeli source both confirmed the Monday meeting to CBS before the secretary did, and when he finally spoke it was "visiting our troops" plus a line about good partners. The Pentagon still won't comment. Americans are paying $6 a gallon for the war that conversation was about, and the country is being asked to trust the next round to a planning session the war secretary says is private. Netanyahu has posted the version he wants Israelis to hear, "a job to finish." Washington's version is a shrug of indifference, and the first time voters learn what was agreed at Ovda may be when the first bomb lands. Source: CBS News / Writer: Daniel

🚨🇺🇦🇷🇺 32,000 dead in one month: Trump says Ukraine has to want a deal because Russia has far more men to send Trump put the war's toll last month at 32,000 on both sides, mostly young soldiers, and laid the next move squarely on Kyiv: "Ukraine does not have a lot of people to draw from, and it's time to make a deal." The manpower math is real, since Kyiv already dropped its draft age to 25 while Russia keeps recruiting from a population more than three times larger. His claim that America got "nothing back" skips the minerals deal Kyiv signed last year, though. Expect the squeeze on Zelenskyy to tighten fast... Putin wants a November summit with Trump and Xi that leaves Ukraine out of the room, and every word like this makes that meeting easier to say yes to. Writer: Daniel

🇮🇱 🇵🇸 Two peace offers, in 2000 and 2008, turn into the flashpoint of a heated fight over who killed Palestinian statehood. Omar Baddar says Netanyahu vowed there would never be a Palestinian state long before October 7, while Israel kept building settlements the UN calls illegal all through the peace process. Shabbos Kestenbaum fires back with the Arab world's "three no's" from 1967 and the offers Palestinian leaders turned down: "In fact, in both 2000 and in 2008, they were offered 97% of the West Bank. And they literally said no." Both men come armed with history here, and every minute of it is worth watching. @OmarBaddar @ShabbosK

🇺🇸 Kamala is FED UP with everyone talking about Trump's ballroom, reflecting pool, and golf outings. She wants Americans to focus on something else: how much their lives COST. 🇺🇸 Rubio went straight to the basics: leaders of the 3 biggest nuclear powers talking is NORMAL DIPLOMACY, not a scandal He said people need to GROW UP about foreign policy, saying that you can't reach deals or reduce risks if the strongest countries refuse to speak. Talking is the starting point for negotiation, not a reward for the other side. When nuclear arsenals are on the table, silence is the riskier option. Writer: Lucas t.co/6QY6AesEyR

🇺🇸🇮🇷 Treasury Secretary Bessent says Iran’s oil money has completely dried up. “Think of it like a company going bankrupt that no one is going to give them money.” He says no oil has been loaded at Iran’s Kharg Island terminal since August, and that Iran has no oil out on the water right now. Kharg used to handle around 90% of Iran’s oil exports, now it’s apparently a ghost port. Writer: Daniyal t.co/6dtuiPOL7e

🇮🇱 🇵🇸 Not a single settlement was attacked on October 7... and every community Hamas hit sits inside Israel proper. Shabbos Kestenbaum tells Omar Baddar the fight was never about settlements, pointing to Hamas's own charter. Violent settlers should be arrested and prosecuted, he says, and the Palestinian Authority is the side that pays families of attackers like the man who killed Taylor Force, a US Army veteran: "Hamas doesn't care about settlements. It's the entirety of the land." Watch Shabbos make the case that settlements were never the real dispute. @OmarBaddar @ShabbosK

🇮🇱 🇵🇸 Israel's defense minister told the IDF to prepare for an October 7 style attack from the West Bank before the election. In a debate with Shabbos Kestenbaum, Omar Baddar argues the danger runs the other way, pointing to the more than 1,200 Palestinians he says have been killed in the West Bank since October 7 and settlers he says work hand in glove with the army: "I think they are provoking some sort of reaction in the West Bank to then justify emptying out the West Bank as well." With Israelis voting on October 24, watch Omar make the case that the warning itself is the setup. @OmarBaddar @ShabbosK

🇨🇳🇺🇸 Trump just kicked China's DeepSeek out of U.S. government systems. Beijing is FURIOUS. And the AI rivalry is getting personal. Washington has ordered federal civilian agencies to remove DeepSeek, including third-party software built using its models, over fears that sensitive government data could end up in Chinese hands. China is demanding an immediate reversal, accusing Trump of violating understandings reached with Xi Jinping. And Beijing is threatening to take measures of its own. The two leaders only recently agreed to cooperate through a new AI dialogue. Now Washington is effectively telling Beijing that its AI models aren't trusted anywhere near American government systems. The U.S. and China are trying to cooperate on artificial intelligence while simultaneously treating each other's technology as a national security threat. That relationship is going to be a hell of a balancing act. Source: Reuters / Writer: Oliver

🇺🇸 FEMA wanted two high-tech private jets for its bosses. DHS apparently thought that was a bit much. According to CNN, the proposal was pulled within hours after senior officials discovered it hadn't been authorized. The awkward part? DHS has already spent more than $1.6 billion on aircraft and aviation contracts, including a fleet purchased for deportations that has barely been used. Some of those planes have reportedly been flying government officials around instead. Washington promised to cut waste. Apparently, somebody forgot to tell the aviation department. 🇺🇸 America has somehow turned WEIGHT LOSS into a two-subscription business. First you pay for Ozempic or Wegovy to lose weight. Then you spend another $100 to $300 a month on supplements because apparently losing weight now comes with a shopping list. Nearly HALF of GLP-1 users have started taking additional vitamins and supplements, while America's supplement industry has ballooned past $74 BILLION. And naturally, TikTok influencers have arrived to sell everyone the solution. Some of these products may help with genuine nutritional needs. Others come with questionable claims and little regulatory scrutiny. The FDA is now considering tighter oversight. People are now buying products to manage the side effects of other products, while influencers collect commissions on both ends. What a beautiful business model. Source: Reuters / Writer: Oliver
