Curaçao, a Caribbean island off Venezuela's coast, just got a little less dependent on what happens beneath the ocean. Starlink is now live, bringing high-speed satellite internet to the island alongside its traditional undersea cable connections. For people in harder-to-reach areas, that means more options for working, studying and running businesses online. If an undersea cable runs into trouble, there's another way to stay connected. Impressive what a bunch of satellites flying overhead can do for one little island. @Starlink @SpaceX / Writer: Annette, Designer: Janné

Legal fine print is about to lose its biggest weapon: intimidation. And it's about time. Grok Bot can now go through contracts, leases, and legal documents, flagging hidden fees, tricky clauses, and details you might have missed. It can even help draft a dispute letter or suggest better contract terms. People sign agreements without fully understanding what they're agreeing to, because making sense of all that legal jargon is one hell of a schlep. Grok Bot actually enjoys digging through all that. @Grok @Bot @spacexai / Writer: Annette, Designer: Janné

Grok Voice starts answering questions in around 0.81 seconds. And it knows its stuff. Grok Voice 3.0 just topped the Artificial Analysis conversational voice rankings with an 86.9 score and a 94.8% task success rate. Even more interesting, its voice technology is already helping handle up to 20,000 @Starlink customer calls a day, resolving roughly 70% without human intervention. People get technical problems sorted, replacement equipment arranged, and questions answered without being passed around departments. A voice assistant that can actually fix the reason you called. Petrol-only cars just lost their majority in global new car sales. For the first time ever. Five years ago, they made up 73% of new cars sold worldwide. Now they’re down to 49%, while hybrids and electric cars keep gaining ground. Tesla's right in the middle of it, with the Model Y repeatedly topping global electric car sales charts. That’s millions of people choosing a different way to drive, with more options to save on fuel and spend less time at the pump. We’re talking about what people are buying NOW. Those choices will shape what’s driving on our roads in the future. @Tesla / Writer: Annette, Designer: Janné

🇺🇸🇸🇦🇾🇪 Is the U.S. about to get dragged into ANOTHER war in the Middle East? Retired Lt. Gen. Mark Hertling warns that Saudi is asking for MORE American military aid to fight the Houthis in Yemen, despite boasting a high-tech arsenal of over 400 fighter jets. Riyadh has struggled against Houthi forces for over a decade, but stepping in might cause a far deeper quagmire. “It's just going to draw the US into another Middle Eastern war beyond what's going on in Iran right now.” How many wars can Washington handle at once? 🥴 Writer: Sol t.co/1LItFtAeHE

🇸🇦 Saudi Arabia’s royal family may not survive this war as the kingdom’s founding deal with its clerics starts to crack. Lawrence Wilkerson says the kingdom is running short on money and losing allies, while the centuries old pact between the House of Saud and the Wahhabi religious establishment comes apart in real time: “I think they’re finished. I think the Royals are finished.” If the royals and the clerics split for good, who’s left to hold Saudi Arabia together?

🇮🇷🇺🇸 Iran says its air defenses are now stronger than before the war started The army spokesman told the semi-official ISNA that a "significant portion" of the radars and launchers destroyed in the war have been repaired, "new equipment" has been added, and the IRGC has run joint drills with it. He also claimed US warships have already backed off more than 300 miles from Iran's coast and "will be forced to flee even further in the coming days." The read from Tehran's negotiating team is just as flat. An aide to the parliament speaker leading the talks posted that "all sources we consult to gauge the enemy's intent agree that a threat is imminent," and that if Trump wants to declare victory "he will likely have to target Iran's nuclear program." Enter the MOAB strike package rumors. Source: MilitaryCom / Writer: Daniel

🇮🇱 🇺🇸 No amount of American money will keep the region’s kings in line once the dam breaks on Israel. Lawrence Wilkerson says the cracks are already showing, and the region has been waiting for this moment since 1948: “Once that dam breaks, no amount of American money will buy off kings, queens and whatever, and they will not stop until it’s eradicated, completely eradicated.” Washington has spent decades paying for calm in the Middle East, so what happens when the checks stop working?

🚨🇮🇷🇺🇸 Iran's state broadcaster claims Washington asked permission to bomb Pickaxe Mountain as a "symbolic strike" with no retaliation, and Tehran said NO IRIB's correspondent says the request came through back channels and was rejected, adding that Iran's forces are "in a state of complete readiness" and that Trump's statements "point to war within the next 24 hours." No US outlet has confirmed any such offer, and this is a single state-media reporter, so weigh it accordingly. CNN reported Thursday that the Pentagon's strike package includes the MOAB against Pickaxe, that planners admit it can't reach the granite, and that officials call it a "fireworks show" to give Trump an off-ramp. Trump then told Newsmax, "We'll take a shot at that one. We'll knock it out fast." A strike designed to look like an ending works best if the other side agrees not to answer, which is exactly what IRIB says Washington asked for. If the claim is true, the US just tried to negotiate the terms of its own victory and got refused. The more likely explanation: it's propaganda mean to make America look like it's asking for a photo op. Source: IRIB (Iran state broadcaster) / Writer: Daniel

🇮🇱 🇮🇷 One tactical nuke on Iran could spiral into a full nuclear exchange... and the people floating the idea are dead serious. Lawrence Wilkerson, Colin Powell’s former chief of staff, says the talk of tactical nuclear signaling toward Iran is no bluff, and the people behind it have no idea what they’d set loose: “Once it’s opened, then it’ll be Katie, bar the door. We’ll start ratcheting up and doing more and more and more until we’re into a general nuclear exchange. And that’s hell for the whole human race, probably.” Trump has already ruled out going nuclear on Iran, and that door needs to stay shut.

🇮🇷🇾🇪 IRGC officers are on Yemen's front lines picking targets for the Houthis... The Journal's sources in Saudi and Yemeni intelligence lay out the chain. In July, Iran sent two Mahan Air flights to Sanaa to carry Houthi officials to Khamenei's funeral. The cargo holds carried IRGC paramilitary officers, drone parts, missile guidance systems and impact detonators. The Saudis found out, bombed Sanaa's runway to stop the second flight, and the four-year truce was over. What followed was a different Houthi army: fiber-optic drones, coordinated missile and infantry assaults, radars and launchers placed along Bab al-Mandeb with Guard officers helping, and a September offensive that took Mocha before the Saudi-backed side knew it had started. IRGC advisers are assigned to every piece of the Houthi machine, drones, missiles, tunnels, logistics, and were directing strikes from the front. Iran says it "does not interfere in Yemeni affairs" and offered to mediate again Friday. CENTCOM says the IRGC is so broke its proxies are skimming their own payroll. Both can be true, because Tehran isn't paying for Riyadh's airport to burn, it's steering the missile. That's the cheapest leverage Iran has left, and it's the reason the Houthis are fighting a smarter war than the Saudis expected. Source: Wall Street Journal / Writer: Daniel

🚨🇺🇸 Katie Zacharia was mid-interview telling the Journal her plans for the job when an aide knocked and said the VP Vance wanted a word... she never came back! The Journal was sitting in her West Wing office at 1 p.m. Friday, as she insisted "there are no staffing changes that are happening." Then Jason Miller knocked, she walked out to see Vance, and Trump walked to the helipad to tell reporters he'd asked her, "Is this for you, Katie?" Less than an hour later she was out. The backstory is a setup NOBODY survives. She learned she'd be giving her first briefing just before Trump posted it, got her binder the morning of, read from notes, and had slept three hours after a Hannity grilling and her son's birthday. One former official described her as an overwhelmed substitute teacher... Trump told aides she wasn't talented. She never passed the bar, which she'd never acknowledged while calling herself a lawyer. But she also walked into a White House three weeks from an election where the chief of staff hadn't been consulted on her hire and the president is privately souring on his own team. Honestly, she never stood a chance. Source: Wall Street Journal / Writer: Daniel

🇺🇸 Couple from HELL kept children in HOUSE OF HORRORS Nine children, some as young as ONE have been rescued. Jonathan Parr and Jacquelyn Coleman were arrested after authorities discovered children living in a filthy, bug-infested property, with at least four sleeping in a SHED. 🇺🇸🇮🇷🇯🇵 The Iran war has reportedly pulled missile defense batteries out of Japan and South Korea and frozen arms deliveries to Japan and Taiwan Eight months of shooting interceptors at Iranian missiles has drained the shelf so far that, by this account, the Pentagon is stripping its Pacific allies to keep the Gulf covered, with the eastern flank of NATO thinned the same way. David Pyne, a former Missile Defense Agency employee, says he predicted on March 5 that this war would flip the global military balance against the United States, and he says that prediction has held up: “All those defenses are really badly depleted.” Thirteen to sixteen US bases are reportedly unusable, the blockade line sits 1,000 km off Iran, and every ally from Riyadh to Taipei now knows the same thing: the American umbrella is folded up until the factories catch up, and nobody has said when that is. @AmericaFirstCon @WeTheBrandon
