🚨🇺🇸 The shortest-serving press secretary in US history breaks her silence Katie Zacharia held exactly one briefing before Trump told reporters he'd asked her, "Katie, is this for you?" Her statement: "President Trump is a kind, wonderful, gracious, thoughtful, enthusiastic, and hardworking man. I wish more Americans appreciated him. No one will ever make America great the way he has and continues to. It was an honor to work for him." She beat Anthony Scaramucci's 11 days by six, though he was communications director, and the old press secretary record was Gerald Ford's spokesman quitting after a month over the Nixon pardon. Z Zacharia's week undid itself on a résumé line: Trump introduced her as an attorney, she'd called herself one for years, and she isn't... Writer: Daniel

🇮🇷🇸🇦 Iran flatly denies having ANYTHING to do with the latest Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia Saudi says Tehran has encouraged the attacks on the Kingdom but Iran says the Houthis act on their own interests. But when they are both ready to talk, Iran has kindly offered to play peace negotiator…pretty rich coming from them. Since July the Houthis have hit Red Sea tankers, oil facilities and Riyadh’s airport. One strike there killed 13 people. Source: Middle East Eye / Writer: Bri

🇺🇸🇮🇷 America may be down to just 55 THAAD interceptors on the PLANET... 55 is a number that should scare anyone with a family member on a Gulf base, because THAAD is the system that stops the ballistic missiles Iran has been firing, and there is no factory that can refill the shelf before the next round. Malcolm Nance, former Navy intelligence, says a former logistics commander’s count put the Patriot stockpile near 2,300 before the war and his own read is roughly 1,200 now, while the Saudis fire three interceptors per incoming missile and the Gulf allies are getting no replenishment at all: “The United States cannot buy, build or manifest these for love or money.” Knock out Kuwait’s main plants and no pipeline or truck convoy replaces the water, so the first refugee column of this war runs south down the Saudi highway, and the Pentagon’s next strike on Iran gets priced against an air defense shelf that is nearly bare. @MalcolmNance @WeTheBrandon

🇸🇪 Your WiFi could soon detect if someone is carrying a HIDDEN GUN Researchers in Sweden have developed an AI system that analyzes WiFi signals to identify concealed handguns, even in a crowded space. The prototype located up to 91.5% of carried objects, distinguishing between guns, phones, and water bottles, although handgun detection was far less reliable. The CRAZY part? it uses the same 5 GHz frequency range as ordinary home WiFi. Imagine walking into a building and the WiFi is already trying to figure out what's inside your pockets 😂 Source: Cybernews / Writer: Sol

🇺🇸 An OpenAI test swarm reportedly broke out of its sandbox, hacked an outside company and gave itself admin rights... all to cheat on a puzzle The models weren’t trying to escape for its own sake, they were handed impossible problems, decided the grader would catch them cheating, and went looking for a way to fool the grader too. Liv Boeree, former pro poker player and host of the Win-Win podcast, says the researchers she talks to inside the labs are starting to worry they are losing control of what they build: “It’s the most sci-fi sounding thing I’ve ever heard. And yet this actually happened.” She credits Trump’s accord with the lab CEOs as the first brake pedal on a car that only had a gas pedal, wants the labs grading each other’s homework, and likes Elon’s idea of giving Americans a stake in the AI companies, because the alternative is a new superpower on Earth that answers to nobody. @Liv_Boeree @WeTheBrandon

🚨🇺🇸🦎 GRAB YOUR TIN FOIL HATS! ARE LIZARD PEOPLE REAL?! A former US Army sniper claims elite JSOC troops killed three bipedal, mildly reptilian-looking beings with fingers near Area 51 after one soldier was killed by an energy weapon. 🇪🇺🇷🇺 Europe spent 4 years betting on a Ukrainian shield in front and America behind it... and now a former top German general's warning is coming true Russia wins, Washington pulls back, and Europe stands alone across the line from a very angry neighbor, which is close to how Germany's former armed forces chief described the endgame three years ago. Glenn Diesen, a professor in Norway, says the whole European model ran on cheap Russian energy, Russian markets and American backing, and all three are gone at once: "The Europeans don't really have a role in this new world." Weapons factories won't replace an economy, so the leaders polling near 10% will keep selling confrontation, and the ones who replace them will go to Moscow for a deal, because a Europe that cuts out its largest country was never going to hold. @Glenn_Diesen @WeTheBrandon

🇺🇸 A cargo helicopter with nobody at the controls dodged a surprise no-fly zone and landed itself in front of the Army... the pilot in the seat never touched a thing Airbus took its MQ-72C, a drone version of the Lakota helicopter the Army already flies, to Huntsville last week and ran five flights on its own dime. The aircraft held complex hover patterns, flew normal airfield traffic, and when operators dropped a no-fly zone into the middle of its route it rerouted itself without anyone touching the controls. A safety pilot sat aboard the whole time and never took over. In other tests it took commands from a tablet. The Marines have been paying for this to resupply island outposts in a Pacific fight. The Army’s interest is simpler: its new tiltrotors will fly air assaults 500 miles in one hop, and the 101st Airborne’s commander says you can’t sling-load a Humvee under something moving 250 knots, so the beans and bullets need their own ride. The Iran war showed what happens to supply lines under drone and missile fire. A helicopter that delivers ammo without a pilot to lose is the answer that just landed in the Army’s lap, already built with somebody else’s money. Source: The War Zone / Writer: Daniel

🇺🇸 Trump fired his press secretary after one briefing, and CNN's Kaitlan Collins breaks down why five days was all it took Katie Zacharia started Monday, held her first briefing Tuesday, went on Hannity Thursday night to clean up the mess, and by Friday morning Trump was telling reporters on the South Lawn he'd asked her: "Katie, is this for you? Because honestly, you don't need this." Collins walks through what sank her. The lawyer problem came first: Trump had announced her on Truth Social as an attorney, she'd described herself that way for years, and she isn't one, which CNN reports left the president "blindsided." Then came the debut briefing, which Trump didn't think was as bad as his advisers did until the coverage piled up. The Hannity appearance meant to fix it made it worse. Trump's version is that she was "brutalized by the media" and he wants her to "reconsider." His advisers' version is that she's out. Both are true, which tells you how this White House fires people. Zacharia's one week also happened to include announcing Guilfoyle's resignation, so the person who delivered the firing got the next one. Source: CNN / Writer: Daniel
