Less than 2 years ago, Călin Georgescu won the Romanian Presidential election by a wide margin, with zero marketing, no backing by the establishment, just the popular vote of the Romanian vote. They cancelled the entire election, barred him from running again, created what looks like bogus charges against him, and jailed him.
