Clarksons data shows Chinese shipyards took most new orders this year, including the bulk of the largest oil tankers. China Merchants and COSCO Energy already operate two of the world’s biggest tanker fleets. One company that only owns these giant tankers, DHT, has already locked in half its open days for the rest of the year at $509,100 a day. Police won't say where the bystander was standing or whether he was supposed to have a gun at all. Manjit Singh Bedi, who ran a Tacoma grocery store, allegedly exchanged SNAP EBT benefits for cash and kept half the money. The scheme allegedly stole at least $600K between 2024 and 2025. After being charged, he fled to Canada and flew to India. He’s one of six suspects on a new fraud list caught in three months, tied to over $2B in alleged fraud.
