🇮🇷🇺🇸 Iran has reportedly landed 135 strikes on 84 energy sites across 7 Gulf countries... and the jets meant to answer were barely 50% mission-ready before the war even started
A Reuters survey, as relayed by former Marine and State Department official Matthew Hoh, puts the war's running damage to Gulf energy infrastructure far past anything officially admitted.
The American side is flying on borrowed parts, with squadrons calling across the flight line to grab six jets before deploying, carriers kept 1,000 km off the Iranian coast, and 60-year-old tankers reportedly flying out of Israel across the whole Arabian Peninsula to meet them:
"That's why you see this five weeks, six weeks, seven week breaks that they're taken."
Only about 20 of the big bunker-busters were ever built, so the next round runs on exhausted crews and a thin shelf, ends when the maintenance bill comes due, and leaves Iran choosing what to hit in between.
