🇺🇲 Trump is (once again) BLAMING BIDEN for America’s economic woes.
“We inherited the worst inflation through Biden in the history of our county. We have that down now, very down low. It’s gonna come even lower soon as we finish the war.”
It’s a misleading statement, and here’s why:
-Inflation peaked at 9.1% in June 2022, the highest in about 40 years, but the U.S. record was 23.7% in 1920.
-Annual inflation had fallen to around 3% by January 2025, when Trump took office.
-Lower inflation means prices are rising more slowly, not that prices have returned to previous levels.
It’s time for POTUS to take that broken record off the turntable…
He’s STILL singing the wrong tune.

@MarioNawfal Blaming Biden alone for inflation is misleading; it was driven by global supply shocks and pandemic spending. His point of view is also worth considering. @Robert197071
