This is exactly why Bessent is right. You can't talk about energy security and development while ignoring who is attacking energy security. The Houthis have spent years firing drones and missiles at Saudi oil fields, refineries, and civilian airports - Abqaiq, Khurais, Jizan. Every attack is an attack on global energy supply, on oil prices that hurt the poorest countries the most, and on the very right of a country to develop its resources. The World Bank shouldn't be blocking Saudi, UAE or any country from developing their oil & gas because of climate ideology, while Iranian-backed Houthi terrorists are literally trying to blow up that same energy infrastructure. One side wants to build energy, the other wants to destroy it. If you want stable markets, you support responsible energy producers like Saudi Arabia, not terrorists who weaponize energy. Reform is overdue.

In all of the globe, only Canada, more specifically it’s current government would try and lay blame on the United States for this….. Mark Carney goes and makes a backdoor deal with China to import their fucking steel and you expect this company and the US to take it laying down? What’s even funnier is this woman and that liberal government are blaming the US for all of this…. At the 11th hour during train negotiations to US looked completely dumbfounded as this party came to the table with what’s been called unrealistic request… And still to this state the Canadian government still hasn’t issued the documents outlining the details of what made that trade deal goes south…. If I was the United States, I would literally take all of my American companies and pull them the hell out of Canada. I wouldn’t even think twice about it… Because from what I see what Mark Carney‘s overall plan is is to replace the United States with India…… and it wouldn’t surprise me if this “ trillion dollars” of investment is going to do exactly that buy up the shit that the United States backs away from in Canada or cells and they’re going to get Third World manufacturing in Canada with Third World workers… Driving Canada’s standards down, but yet corporate profits up… Has everybody forgotten who Mark Carney is and what he did before he took on the Prime Minister role… He rules in governance by a ledger and balance sheet and he’s treating Canada like a hostile corporation….. The problem is Canadians livelihoods are being directly impacted, and severely hurt by it… He’s not doing what he’s doing for the betterment of Canada. He’s doing it for profitability for shareholders in large corporations, some of which he has vested interest in….. What they’ve chosen to do is try and frame the United States that they’re the big bad person and all of this and it’s all their fault… This liberal government has set the stage for everything that’s happening and people are gobbling it up… I’ve never seen so many people so inept and have the inability to look at the situation for what’s actually going on
