🇷🇺🇷🇴 Russian drones just struck the fuel tanker YARA J near the mouth of Romania's Sulina Canal, setting the vessel on fire. The tanker was reportedly carrying fuel bound for Ukraine and had a Syrian crew aboard. The strike comes days after a series of drone attacks on commercial shipping in the western Black Sea, close to Romania and Bulgaria. On October 13, two commercial vessels were struck near Bulgaria, with 11 sailors reported missing after the cargo ship HS Dignity sank. The circumstances of the YARA J strike, including responsibility and its precise location, have not yet been independently confirmed. Source: Rerum Novarum on Telegram / Writer: Mhedi

🇮🇷🇧🇭 IRAN COULD INVADE BAHRAIN if another war breaks out, and taking over the Gulf kingdom would be relatively EASY. Prof. Foad Izadi argues that Tehran would have to respond much more aggressively to another US-Israeli attack, potentially targeting Gulf states that helped Washington. He singles out Bahrain, claiming its royal family has actively worked against Iran and pointing to the country's historical ties to Tehran. “If the Bahraini royal family is in London instead of Manama, then you don't have to worry about them trying to pass a UN resolution against Iran.” And when asked whether Bahrain would be the primary target of an Iranian ground invasion, his answer was chilling: “Bahrain would be the first choice. It would be much easier.” He even suggested that Iraqi forces could take over Kuwait. @IzadiFoad

🇺🇸🇮🇷 Iran was letting its OWN OIL pass through the Strait of Hormuz alongside Gulf shipments, hoping to give Trump a reason to end the war. Iranian professor Foad Izadi claims Tehran deliberately allowed some oil shipments to continue, including Iranian crude transported on smaller tankers and transferred to larger vessels. He argues Iran was trying to keep oil prices under control and create room for a deal with Washington, but that strategy failed. “Trump was not interested in an agreement.” @IzadiFoad

🚨🇺🇸🇬🇷 Kim Guilfoyle's desperate campaign to keep her post: late-night phone calls, leaker hunts, schmoozing Rubio on the tarmac, and claiming the $100,000 texts were AI fakes To absolutely nobody's surprise... none of it worked. The inside account of her last week in Athens shows an ambassador who believed she could outlast the story right up to Tuesday morning. The AI excuse went to White House officials after reporters had already verified the messages to donor Eric Deters, and it died on arrival. The leaker hunt turned on her own embassy staff and security detail. The Rubio hug on the tarmac came as his team was messaging Washington about damage control while he prepared a speech at the Acropolis they feared she’d overshadow. She also asked the State Department to get a Daily Mail story about an unpaid Champagne tab scrubbed from the internet. Trump never spoke to her before giving the order, and told reporters she “dated my son a long time ago”... Ouch. Source: Wall Street Journal / Writer: Daniel

🇺🇸 A viral letter from a USS Abraham Lincoln sailor claims the carrier ran out of food after 4 months and lived on rations for the next 6 The chief petty officer’s letter circulating online describes the Lincoln burning through its food in four months, then six months of special rations, and claims an admiral told the crew there was no clear objective and no plan from the Pentagon. Retired Army Maj. Gen. Randy Manner won’t vouch for the letter, but he was on Army staff when the Walter Reed scandal broke and remembers what accountability looked like: “Own it, fix it, and move on.” Back then the Army chief of staff owned the failure publicly and Manner was assigned to fix it within 30 days, so the test now is whether anyone in the chain does the same for a carrier almost eight months into a war with no end date. @WeTheBrandon

🇺🇸 Trump is BRAGGING that America is making more money than ever because oil prices are SO HIGH… Does that make sense to anyone actually buying gas? Regular Americans are getting HAMMERED at the pump. “Our country is making more money than it's ever made because of the fact that oil is so high.” But here's what Trump’s leaving out: Gasoline is averaging $4.33 a gallon, up roughly 41% from a year ago. Diesel is around $6.18, up nearly 69%. Great news for the oil industry. Now try explaining that celebration to the guy filling up his pickup truck. Writer: Sol t.co/jjBr7DXoWL

🇺🇸🇮🇷 A new war with Iran could put TRILLIONS of dollars in American investments at risk, and Tehran may be preparing a response far bigger than anything we've seen before. Iranian professor Foad Izadi warns that another US or Israeli attack could trigger a regional war, with roughly $2 TRILLION in American investments across the Persian Gulf potentially exposed. He also points to an Iranian security official's warning about cutting underwater cables, which could disrupt communications and data across the region. “Iran is tired of being attacked. And I think this time, the Iranian leaders have realized that negotiations are just deception operations by the US. Iran is going to make sure that the other side's economy, the American economy, is destroyed.” @IzadiFoad

🇺🇸 Trump says we have to watch SI because sometimes it may get “too super” He called it superintelligence and warned that it can go too far. Hope he's not talking about some kind of AI revolt over us. Sarah Connor vibes just met a Trump rally. Peak 2026 😂 Writer: Lucas t.co/WqyWG1ejyk

🚨🇺🇸 Trump just warned his rally crowd that his personal doctors are NOT there for them He even picked out one guy in the audience as an example: “He looks like he’s ready to have a heart attack. 🇮🇷🇺🇸 Oil flow through Hormuz has dropped by as much as a third in two weeks as Iran hits ships nearly twice a day Transits through the strait peaked at just over 17 million barrels a day in late September, and oil analyst Rory Johnston's tracking has them back down to somewhere between 11 and 14 million after 26 confirmed attacks since September 30. The strikes moved from the Gulf into the strait itself, the hardest pace of the war, yet traffic is still running near its wartime high because the math still works: "If you're making 20, $30 a barrel on shipping through the strait, you can lose a ship and you can still make money." The US blockade is biting too, with Iranian output under 2 million barrels a day for the first time since 2020, so both sides are bleeding and both still think they're winning, which is exactly how wars of attrition run past the point anyone planned for. @Rory_Johnston

🇺🇸 Trump on Katie Hobbs: “Something has to be between her and the cartels" Is he seriously trying to accuse an U.S governor of taking cartel bribes? Trump linked her vetoes on fentanyl and crime bills directly to drug syndicates and claims she is causing “tremendous” state deaths. It is high voltage campaign theater designed to salvage a close race for Republican Andy Biggs who is trailing in the polls. Writer: Bri t.co/OMtXsXElBQ

🚨🇺🇸 Trump says leakers “should be SHOT” after weeks of leaked reports on his Iran war planning “Leakers, in my opinion, should be shot. They should be shot. In the old days, we used to shoot leakers.” The anger has a source... this is a White House that has watched its Iran strike plans land in the Times and Axios for week after week. Nobody should hand war plans to reporters while Americans are in harm’s way, but a president floating executions for leakers should make everyone uneasy… whistleblowers and leakers get lumped together fast, and a country that shoots people for talking to the press has stopped being free. 🇺🇸🇨🇦Trump on Canada: They need us more than we need them! He refuses to drop this. 🇺🇸🇮🇷 Trump says Iran would nuke the Middle East, then the West Coast, then Europe within 24 hours of getting a bomb "If they had a nuclear weapon, within 24 hours they would use it. They'll knock out the Middle East. Then they'll start hitting us on the West Coast. They'll hit Europe. Because they're crazy. They're crazy people." Two weeks ago he said Iran could "take out" Los Angeles and San Diego, took heat for it, and then assured voters "we protect our cities." Iran has never had a missile that reaches California and its longest-range systems top out around Europe's edge, so the West Coast line is about the midterms, where war fatigue is the Republican problem and Trump thinks fear is the fix. 🚨🇺🇸🇮🇷 Trump admits the strikes on Iran's leaders went too far... and now nobody knows who's giving the orders in Tehran Seven months of strikes took out Iran's top leadership and left the country with a new supreme leader, and Trump just admitted the cost: "I probably went a little too far. I'm sorry, because I don't know who the hell we're dealing with anymore." Taking out the head of a regime almost never brings it down. Iran built its IRGC to fight in independent regional cells exactly so it could survive losing its commanders, and every empty seat got filled by someone harder. Regimes fall when their own people turn on them from within... and bombing the leadership handed hardliners a war to rally that public around instead. Writer: Daniel t.co/ngEhVXAg8F

🇺🇸 Eight U.S. states, including Iowa and Kansas, have sued OpenAI, alleging that ChatGPT has encouraged children to harm themselves or others. The lawsuits were filed today in state courts across the country, accusing the company of failing to adequately protect minors. The states want courts to force OpenAI to change how ChatGPT interacts with children and surrender profits earned from young users. Florida filed a similar lawsuit in June, while OpenAI already faces dozens of other lawsuits alleging its chatbot contributed to shootings and other acts of violence. Whether AI should be regulated at the state level in the U.S. is a strongly debated matter that some believe will be critical to who wins the AI arms race. This could bring us a step closer to finding out how that debate might evolve. Source: Reuters / Writer: Mhedi

All indicators point to war in the next few days: - Massive U.S. military build-up over the past 2 weeks (ongoing) - Iranian and Israeli military drills (Israeli jets over Syria and Iraq, Iranian ballistic missile launches) - Warning by Israel to Hezbollah not to join a war with Iran, threatening to hold Lebanon itself responsible - Qatar just warned it's citizens to prep for the worst - No progress in the negotiations, with multiple leaks by many outlets regarding imminent strikes - Massive escalation by Iran in the Strait of Hormuz as Gulf countries try to get as much oil out as they can before a restart of hostilities The only question is, who wants to escalate before the midterms: Iran to harm Trump politically, or Trump and Israel to give a bombing campaign another try? If I had to guess: The U.S/Israel may have intel of a pre-emtive Iranian strike being planned, and may strike first to avoid Trump getting humiliated

🇺🇸 The Justice Department has issued roughly a dozen subpoenas in an investigation into Ilhan Omar's immigration status, including to members of her family. Investigators are examining her birthdate, citizenship records, and whether false information was provided during the immigration process. Omar, who was born in Somalia, became a naturalized U.S. citizen at 17. She has not personally been subpoenaed. They came days before federal agents searched her Washington, D.C., home as part of a yearslong investigation involving potential immigration fraud. Omar has condemned the investigation as political intimidation, accusing Trump of targeting her with baseless allegations. Trump says federal authorities are examining her case "very carefully," while the DOJ has not publicly announced any charges. Source: NBC News / Writer: Mhedi

🇺🇸🇮🇷🇮🇱 Washington’s on-the-record position on Iran hasn’t softened an inch since the MOU collapsed, and that’s why another strike looks locked in Forget the Israel-will-go-alone drama and the leaks about sanctions relief, because Trump posted that he has offered Iran nothing, and every official statement since the MOU fell apart has conceded nothing. Dimitri Lascaris says the Israel talk is theater and the call belongs to one capital: “The decision is going to be made in Washington, and I think the decision has been made.” Iran won’t stop hitting ships or cap its nuclear program without a durable peace, so with no concessions on offer, the reported US sorties over Iraq are the only logic left, and American sailors pay the bill for another round that changes nothing. @dimitrilascaris @wethebrandon

🚨🇺🇸 A federal judge appointed by Trump has blocked his administration from banning CNN, MS NOW, and Politico reporters from the White House. Judge Timothy Kelly ruled that the restrictions likely violated the outlets' First Amendment rights, allowing their journalists to retain their press credentials while the lawsuit proceeds. Trump announced the ban in September, accusing the three organizations of unfair coverage. Their reporters subsequently had their credentials deactivated or confiscated. The White House argues that access to the president is a privilege, not a constitutional right, and has confirmed it will appeal the ruling. The judge also rejected the administration's request to suspend his decision during the appeal, meaning the reporters can continue accessing the White House for now. Source: Fox / Writer: Mhedi

🇺🇸 Trump has ordered a White House investigation into allegations that former Kennedy Center chief Ric Grenell failed to deposit nearly $6 million intended for the institution. Former Trump attorney Alina Habba reportedly told the president that her billionaire husband, Turkish businessman Turhan Mildon, had provided the money through a business arrangement involving Grenell. However, Kennedy Center records show no trace of the alleged donation, only a separate $270,000 pledge. Grenell has denied the accusations, calling them "absurd" and a "lie." The dispute comes after relations soured between the former allies, whose business and diplomatic interests previously overlapped in Venezuela. White House lawyers are now seeking evidence to determine whether the money was ever transferred and where it went. Source: Axios / Writer: Mhedi
