🚨🇷🇺 🇺🇦 The diesel deal blowup started at a Miami golf club, where Ukraine asked what it gets in return and heard about US intelligence
Six hours of peace talks at Steve Witkoff’s Florida golf club were supposed to be about ending the war, until Trump’s envoys announced that sanctions on Russian diesel were coming off and Ukraine needed to stop hitting Russian refineries.
When a Ukrainian negotiator asked what Kyiv would get in exchange, the Americans said the US already does plenty and brought up the intelligence it shares, which some in the room heard as a veiled threat.
A US official denies any threat, while admitting Trump is angry enough that it’s hard to predict his next move.
Witkoff and Jared Kushner’s next Moscow trip is now on hold until Zelensky patches things up with Trump, who says Ukraine needs “a new president.”
The fallout is splitting Republicans too, with Sen. Thom Tillis warning the deal may break a law requiring Congress be told before sanctions are lifted.
It’s the worst US-Ukraine rift since last year’s Oval Office blowup, landing three weeks before the midterms, and unless diesel falls from $6.28 a gallon by then, Washington will have strained an ally and split its own party with little to show at the pump.

@MarioNawfal “Strained its own party”… no one in the Republican Party cares about Ukraine except a few RINOs.
The Ukraine war is a Democrat/Global cabal money laundering scam.
Americans of all stripes are too smart to fall for more of that nonsense.
