🚨🇮🇷🇺🇸 A U.S.-contracted vessel was hit in an Iranian drone and missile attack around the Strait of Hormuz this week, according to Fox News. Awaiting further updates on this... We already knew about the exchange of fire the U.S. says came after IRGC forces attempted to seize a naval drone; the U.S. destroyed several Iranian small boats. Iran claims these were fishing vessels... Make no mistake, this war is still very much ALIVE, unfortunately... 😔 Source: @FoxNews, @TreyYingst / Writer: Michael

🔥🇺🇸 Check out this new BATTLEFIELD BADASS! Lockheed’s Skunk Works just showed more of Vectis, its tailless combat drone built to fly with F-35s and F-22s. The first prototype is already in development, with four more funded in-house and a first-flight goal by the end of 2027. It is about 34 feet long with a 38-foot wingspan, a recessed top inlet for stealth and debris protection, and an internal bay shown launching AIM-120s and Small Diameter Bombs. More robots to fight the robots! Woohoo!! Source: The War Zone / Writer: Jamie

🇮🇷🇺🇸 Iran fired about 20 missiles at Jordan last week... The United States answered with 60-70 Patriots and more than a dozen THAADs. That's a week’s worth of high-end interceptors burned in a single night... That's because the warheads split on the way in, forcing them to shoot at a swarm instead of a single projectile. The Pentagon insists the cupboard is NOT empty, but an inspector general report says the war has created strategic shortfalls. Whatever math you go by, it isn't pretty... 🇩🇪🇷🇺🏥 German hospitals are preparing for mass casualties after Bundeswehr planners warned that a NATO war could send up to 1,000 wounded soldiers into Germany every day. The country’s 5 military hospitals would overflow, so civilian clinics would have to treat troops and civilians at the same time. In Ulm, the army is looking at reopening a 1979 underground bunker built for 2,000 people for 90 days. Defense Minister Boris Pistorius has said Russia could be able to strike NATO by 2029. Long story short… no one is truly ready for what comes next. Source: Bloomberg / Writer: Jamie

🇺🇸🇾🇪🇸🇦 Washington sat down with a group it still lists as terrorists, days after that group took the Red Sea coast. U.S. officials met Houthi reps at the embassy in Muscat over the weekend, with Oman arranging the room. The Houthi side said it would NOT hit American ships, would keep the 2025 ceasefire, and would even spare Israeli and commercial traffic... just not Saudi vessels. Mohammad Abdulsalam, who is under U.S. sanctions, was in the room; Trump already said they called and asked America to stay OUT of Yemen... What's MBS thinking about all this? 🤔 Source: Reuters / Writer: Samuel

🇪🇺 Ursula von der Who?? A POLITICO poll in France, Germany, and Spain found Ursula von der Leyen was both little known and little liked heading into the State of the Union speech she delivered earlier today in Strasbourg. More than 1 in five French respondents said they did not know who she was. Only 12% in France said she was doing a good job. In Germany, 45% said she is doing a bad job, driven hard by AfD voters. About 1 in 10 across the 3 countries planned to follow the speech closely. The survey of 2,000-plus adults per country ran Sept. 13-15. It covers three large members, not the whole EU. 🇷🇺🇺🇦🇺🇸 Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov: "Previously, Trump said: 'This is Biden's war, if I were president, nobody would have started it.' But now this has become the war of the current administration. All the sanctions introduced under Biden have been extended without exception by the Trump admin." Most people give Trump credit for Venezuela and a few other international successes... But on Russia-Ukraine? On Iran? LOTS of blood continues to be spilled under Trump... Lavrov is right: "Biden's war" has become Trump's war. He can't continue to blame the previous admin when nothing's changed... Writer: Michael t.co/uWR3uYA55R

🚨🇺🇸 Diesel just crossed $6 a gallon, and John Thune said Republicans are willing to look at blocking U.S. exports to ease the pain before November. America ships more diesel than anyone. Russia used to be next, then Ukrainian strikes on its plants forced Moscow to keep most of that fuel at home through September, with only a possible extra month under discussion. Europe already leans on Gulf Coast cargoes. Cutting those off would tighten allied markets fast. Doug Burgum has warned the move might not cut pump prices. Talk of Japan or the ECB dumping Treasuries is still just a market rumor… we HOPE! Source: Bloomberg / Reuters / Writer: Jamie

🚨🇬🇧 PM Andy Burnham says asylum seekers in the UK must be accommodated with "fairness across the country." This, after residents of the Oxfordshire town of Piddington voted to LEAVE the UK in a symbolic referendum... Britons have had ENOUGH! But Burnham wants the burden to be equally distributed... 🔥🇺🇸 L.A. Mayor Bass: "I would just ask that all Angelenos think of who we lost today and keep them in your prayers." Rough day in Los Angeles yesterday: First, an SUV crashed right through the middle of a city bus… killing at least 2. Later, while covering the crash, an NBC4 news helicopter crashed near the scene, killing 3 on board. Stay safe out there, Angelenos! Writer: Jamie t.co/gkYULXFHPo

🚨🇺🇸 Charlie Kirk’s family just told Utah the assassination was preventable and they want the state on the hook for it... Notices of claim went to Utah, Utah Valley University, and other officials, arguing that promised security NEVER showed up, including the rooftops around the quad where he was speaking. Their lawyer says the murder would NOT have happened if those pledges had been kept... Writer: Samuel t.co/6sfGOjMDeF

🇬🇧🇮🇱 Labour MP Tahir Ali just suggested that Britain should take MILITARY ACTION against Israel: "Should we not also be calling for Israel's disarmament, given the atrocities that have been committed? Previous governments have intervened in the Middle East to take action against human rights abuses, and protect international trade routes. Isn't it about time that military action is taken against Israel, also?" While the UK government will almost certainly NOT accept this proposal, it's incredible that we've reached the point it's being offered... Writer: Mhedi t.co/IFUx8KLbII

🚨🇾🇪🇸🇦 The Houthis say they just hit Aramco in Yanbu AND a major Saudi air base in the same breath... Their statement claims DOZENS of ballistic missiles and drones struck the Yanbu facility and started large fires, then more ballistic missiles hit Khamis Mushait. They're framing it as payback for more than 450 Saudi airstrikes this week and for its 12-year siege... They're also promising to keep trading blockade for blockade until the war on Yemen stops. Fun times in the Middle East... 😅😭 Source: army21ye (TG) / Writer: Samuel

🇨🇳🇺🇸 China warned the U.S. that orbital weapons could spark a space arms race, one day after Washington confirmed it already has them. Air Force Secretary Troy Meink said America now fields “on-orbit space control weapons” to defend the joint force. Beijing called it a bid for space hegemony and said other countries may be forced to respond. China has tested anti-satellite missiles since 2007 and operates its own maneuverable inspector satellites. Source: Reuters / Writer: Jamie

🇪🇺 Ursula von der Leyen wants to reign in Big Tech... "I am aware that many perceive the power of Big Tech as overwhelming and impossible to roll back. I disagree. We do NOT have to accept addictive features. We do NOT have to accept children being drawn into ever more extreme content. We do NOT have to accept that girls have their photos used for AI-generated sexualized images. As we do NOT accept this, we are reversing the burden of proof. Now platforms will have to prove to us that they are safe." 🚨🇺🇸 BREAKING: The Kirk Family has filed suit against Utah Valley Univ., the State of Utah, and officials, alleging Charlie Kirk's assassination was entirely PREVENTABLE. "The Charlie Kirk Show" Exec. Producer Andrew Kolvet joined Fox News to discuss the new filing. "Orem PD right next door had drone coverage. They had a great drone program. They were expecting to get a call for support. That NEVER happened." Charlie should still be here... 💔 Writer: Michael t.co/kLbquPe9gZ

🇨🇳 China fired 9 satellites off a ship near Shanghai, and broke its own sea-launch records for height and weight. A barge that can move is not a fixed pad in the desert. It allows Beijing to shoot more mass higher without waiting on one inland range, and it places the payload closer to useful orbits. That matters for coverage, replenishment, and for stacking a constellation faster than a single concrete site allows. The official story is civilian birds, but the capability is a mobile launch dock on the East China Sea... 👀 Writer: Samuel t.co/zyDwjokC3y

🚨🇺🇸 Washington is pulling tens of millions in military aid OUT of Europe and the Middle East and handing it to governments it likes in the Americas. The State Dept. told Congress it's moving $52M in foreign military financing from Slovakia, North Macedonia, Tunisia, and Iraq to Panama, Peru, Ecuador, and Colombia. Sec. Rubio just toured 3 of those capitals and sold the shift as a fight against narcoterrorism, a lock on the Panama Canal, and a firm warning to China. 🇷🇺🇮🇷🇺🇸 Russia reportedly helped Iran hit U.S. targets more accurately during the war, using its spy satellites. 14 Russian satellites passed over the Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia in the 2 days before Iran struck it. Some could capture high-resolution images of the base, while others could intercept communications and pinpoint air defenses. The late-March strike wounded roughly a dozen U.S. service members and destroyed a KC-135 refueling tanker and an AWACS early-warning aircraft worth hundreds of millions, which had been moved off its usual spot before the war but was hit anyway. The satellite activity reportedly fed Iran the positions of U.S. forces and facilities across the region, and the pattern wasn't a one-off. One case is said to have helped Iran hit a CIA-linked target in Riyadh. Moscow denies providing any such help to Tehran. Russia and Iran keep deepening ties, with Tehran having armed Russia's war in Ukraine with Shahed drones and Moscow now returning the favor. Source: CNN / Writer: Julie t.co/VF0bUo2vR1

🚨🇵🇭 Fmr. Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte has appeared in public for the first time since being transferred to the International Criminal Court... That was 18 mos. ago, and judges now need to consider whether he's healthy enough to stand trial in November. Duterte faces murder charges over his “war on drugs,” which saw more than 6,000 people *officially* recorded as killed in police operations, with most peoples' estimates being substantially higher... The crackdown, however, remained POPULAR with Filipinos, who credited Duterte’s uncompromising approach to confronting drugs and crime, even as human rights groups documented alleged extrajudicial killings and abuses. ICC prosecutors allege the killings amounted to a widespread and systematic attack on civilians; Duterte denies all criminal responsibility. Source: Reuters / Writer: Michael

🇬🇧🇺🇦 Ed Sheeran says he doesn’t “take sides.” Well, in 2022 he certainly did 😳 At his Warsaw concert, he brought Ukrainian band Antytila on stage to perform “2Step” in front of 80,000 people in a show of support for Ukraine. He also collaborated with them on a remix of the track, with royalties going to Ukrainian humanitarian efforts. And earlier that year, he headlined the televised Concert for Ukraine in Birmingham, which raised more than £13 million for humanitarian aid. So the issue may not be politics on stage. It may be which politics. Sources: BBC, Washington Post, United24 / Writer: Julie
