STUDY: STOOL TRANSPLANT - CURE FOR SYMPTOMS OF PARKINSON DISEASE? A recent study by Ghent University Hospital in Belgium reveals the potential of fecal microbiota transplantation (FMT) to alleviate symptoms in Parkinson’s disease (PD) patients. Results show significant improvement in motor symptoms after 12 months, indicating the potential of FMT as a viable treatment option.
