🇵🇸🇮🇱 Former Israeli UN Ambassador Dan Gillerman referred to Palestinians as "INHUMAN ANIMALS" with no challenge from the Sky News reporter. Either Gillerman misspoke, and meant to refer to Hamas, or he meant what he said. But... EVEN if he misspoke, he is conflating Palestinians with Hamas, and this is dangerous. Conflating the two makes is excusable to kill the 600,000 civilians, half of them under the age of 18, since you are labelling them all as Hamas. Rhetoric is important. One should condemn Hamas, but not condemn all Palestinian people.

🚨 JUST IN: Armenian PM Pashinian Signals Willingness to Sign Year-End Peace Treaty with Azerbaijan, Stresses Key Principles - These principles encompass mutual recognition of sovereignty and territorial integrity, including the reopening of regional transportation links like the Meghri railway. - Pashinian stresses that reaffirming these principles makes achieving a peace accord between Armenia and Azerbaijan by the end of the year highly plausible. - Additionally, Pashinian expresses Armenia's eagerness to enhance relations with the European Union and align with EU preferences. - He highlights Armenia's ongoing efforts to assist over 100,000 ethnic Armenians displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh following a recent offensive by Azerbaijan. - Pashinian voices criticism towards security sector allies for their lack of assistance during the conflict and accuses them of interfering with Armenia's parliamentary elections and governance. - In response, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry condemns Pashinian's use of "aggressive rhetoric," which could hinder peace prospects in the region. The Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the longest-running in post-Soviet Eurasia, witnessed sporadic outbreaks of violence from 1994 until 2020. These clashes featured the deployment of attack drones, heavy weaponry along the frontlines, and the operations of special forces, all underscoring the persistent threat of a resumption of full-scale conflict. In September 2020, the situation escalated dramatically, erupting into a full-scale war on the 27th of that month. Following six weeks of intense armed hostilities, a ceasefire agreement was mediated by the Russian Federation in the early hours of November 10. Under this accord, Azerbaijan now has complete control over the seven districts bordering Nagorno-Karabakh, previously held by Armenian forces. Additionally, Azerbaijan retains a significant portion of Nagorno-Karabakh itself. Source: RFE
