🚨JUST IN: Clashes on the Israeli-Lebanese border continue. An Israeli drone fires two missiles at the vicinity of the town of Kfar Shuba in the eastern sector of southern Lebanon. We hope this does not escalate things again, as yesterday we saw the first day of significant de-escalation on the Lebanese border since the war started.

🚨BREAKDOWN: NYT GAZA HOSPITAL BOMBING BOMBSHELL | FULL DETAILS The NYT released a detailed analysis of the evidence used by Israeli Intelligence in their claim that the Islamic Jihad was behind the explosion in the Al-Ahli Arab hospital in Gaza City. Conclusion: The video shows a rocket coming from ISRAEL, NOT GAZA, and also claims the rocket did not even land near the hospital! The investigation was conducted by Pulitzer Prize-winning journalists and visual experts who have a track record of uncovering complex truths in various global issues. While I tweeted about this earlier, I think it deserves a deeper dive, so here’s a breakdown. BREAKDOWN: Video Analysis: The heart of the matter lies in the video footage. The NYT found that the missile in question, as seen in the video, actually detonated around two miles away from the hospital, indicating it may not be linked to the hospital's explosion. What Caused the Blast?: While the article raises significant questions about the true cause of the Al-Ahli Arab hospital explosion, it doesn't provide a conclusive answer. The theory of a failed Palestinian rocket launch remains plausible, but the evidence is far from certain. Ongoing Conflict: Context is essential. This incident occurred amid a larger Israeli-Gaza war that commenced on October 7, making it exceptionally challenging to attribute blame. Intense Bombardment: During this conflict, Israel launched over 8,000 munitions into Gaza. However, the small crater and a lack of clear evidence linking a specific munition to the hospital explosion add another layer of complexity. Intelligence Assessment: U.S. intelligence agencies propose that a Palestinian rocket with a catastrophic motor failure might have played a role. They express confidence in their conclusions. Media and Social Media: The video evidence has been widely cited and shared by Israeli officials, contributing to the confusion surrounding this incident. Synchronization and Conclusion: The NYT conducted a meticulous analysis, synchronizing multiple videos and concluded that the missile seen in the video was launched from Israel, not Gaza, and likely detonated at a considerable distance from the hospital. Uncertainty Remains: Ultimately, the actual cause of the Al-Ahli Arab hospital blast remains elusive, underscoring the complexities and challenges of assigning responsibility during an ongoing conflict. The investigation has raised significant doubts about the initial narrative, leaving this tragic episode with unanswered questions. INVESTIGATION TEAM: Haley Willis: Pulitzer Prizes for investigations into the U.S. military's dismissal of civilian casualty claims and police killings during traffic stops. Alexander Cardia: Recipient of the 2023 Pulitzer Prize for International Reporting for coverage of Russian atrocities in Bucha, Ukraine. Christoph Koettl: Two Pulitzer Prizes for coverage of the civilian toll of U.S. air and drone strikes, and Russian atrocities in Ukraine. CONCLUSION, ALONG WITH MY THOUGHTS, IN BELOW TWEET 👇

🚨🚨BREAKING: NYT DEBUNKS ISRAELI CLAIMS ON GAZA HOSPITAL EXPLOSION The NYT investigation alleges the missile, shown in the video used by U.S and Israeli Intelligence, did not originate from Gaza, and instead originated from Israel. They also concluded the missile "was never near the hospital. It was launched from Israel, not Gaza, and appears to have exploded above the Israeli-Gaza border, at least two miles away from the hospital." In other words: - Hamas and Islamic Jihad may not be behind the Gaza hospital explosion - Also no proof that Israel was behind it either - The evidence used by U.S and Israeli intelligence show a rocket launched from Israel, not Gaza - And that rocket didn't even land near the hospital! CONCLUSION: 1. We do NOT KNOW who was behind this hospital explosion (which seems accidental) 2. US and Israeli intelligence either lied to us, or simply got it wrong 3. Of course, there's the possibility the NYT got it wrong, however this is by far the best analysis I've seen to date.

🚨ANALYSIS: U.S Reinforcing Middle East Air Defense The Biden Administration is rapidly re-deploying approximately a dozen air defense systems to the Middle East after previously withdrawing some of them, underestimating the region's stability. This move is in response to the Gaza war and the increasing attacks on US bases (39 injuries among US soldiers in a week) Key Points: - The administration's previous miscalculation on regional stability led to the withdrawal of defense systems. - THAAD and Patriot surface-to-air missile systems are now being sent to Iraq, Kuwait, Jordan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE. - Escalating tensions and security concerns prompted a hasty reversal in policy.
