🚨Mainstream Media Admits Citizen Journalism Is “Easily Outpacing Established Mainstream News Outlets” As we saw during FTX and the Russian Mutiny, we’re again dominating mainstream media in live coverage during the current war. And again, the media is trying to discredit us. During the Russian mutiny, NBC and others did hit pieces on me to try to discredit X. This time, they at least admitted defeat in both articles: GIZMODO: “Meet the ‘New Elites’ Who Control Twitter's Israel-Hamas News” NBC: “7 influential accounts are warping Israel-Hamas news on X, researchers find” So, what did they attack us on this time? 1. That we got more engagement on them, and they have more followers MY RESPONSE: You guys don’t know how to post on X 2. That @elonmusk engages with us (They REALLY don’t like Elon 😂) MY RESPONSE: And? 3. That we gained too many followers (not making this up!) MY RESPONSE: We gained followers as people like our content. It's simple. 4. That some of us, including me, have “an entire team of people” run our accounts MY RESPONSE: And you don’t have an entire team to run your organization? 5. And of course, they dug into our history to try to find dirt. Typical MY RESPONSE: 😂 Gizmodo, unlike NBC, had the decency and respect to contact me before putting out their piece. MISINFORMATION: They also mentioned their concern around misinformation, which I respect. I told them that I can only speak for myself, and that I quote our source under every post. I am VERY strict, even OBSESSED, in ensuring we only post confirmed news, but at the same time we're careful not to ever act as the 'Arbiters of Truth' To me, TRUST is SIGNIFICANTLY MORE IMPORTANT THAN ENGAGEMENT. I also pointed out that Community Notes is doing a GREAT JOB at correcting misinformation, even being TOO STRICT at times 😂 I want to give credit to Gizmodo. Unlike NBC, which again did a PATHETIC hit piece without asking for comments, Gizmodo was a lot more balanced, and they had a long call with me to ensure they get all the facts. Anyway, I’m glad mainstream media finally admitted defeat. Now it’s our responsibility on X to avoid misinformation as we lead the Citizen Journalism movement.

All viruses have a 'high probability' to infect humans. One belongs to the same family as COVID.
