What if I told you that what made NYC so iconic, is was what will ultimately sink it? The iconic skylines and skyscrapers are sinking part of NYC by up to 5 millimeters annually! A few days ago, she changed her tune due to the ongoing migrant crisis: "If you're going to leave your country, go somewhere else. We have to let the word out that when you come to New York, you’re not going to have more hotel rooms. We don’t have capacity, so we have to also message properly." She advocated for people to enter the country properly: "The smarter thing is to apply for asylum before you leave your country.” Immigration plays a key role in our economy and labor force, but it must be done through the correct channels.
