At four seats or more, Democrats can force Trump to veto bills on tariffs, prices and the war every week until the next election. Reuters' generic ballot today is 47 to 35, Trump sits at 31%, and the Michigan, Alaska, Texas and Kansas Senate races all show Democrats ahead or tied.
